Until you actually get there, a bit difficult to locate. There are a number of multiple apartment complexes near the house most with a number 6. Taxi drivers can get East Suffolk road and East Suffolk Park mixed up, as happened with myself but after a quick call found out we were only 200 yds away.

Nice quiet location, short walk to bus stops to/City centre. Large bath & the twin beds were larger than expected. Large park area outside, which would be pleasant to sit in in the warmer months.

The beds weren’t very comfortable, 1 single bed and 1 camp bed but in fairness the owner did say the property had been empty for several years and they have only recently decided to let rooms out and were looking into getting new beds , and also there wasn’t any tv but as we were out sightseeing most of the time if didn’t bother us.

Nice property in a quiet location on outskirts of Edinburgh, so away from the busy hustle and bustle but easy to get to by bus or about 30 minutes walk if wanted. The owners were lovely and we had access to kitchen and appliances , a lovely lounge, and bathroom whenever we wanted.

It could have been cleaner. You sleep very obviously in someone’s room, the second bed is just basic folding bed, but it’s not too uncomfortable. But it’s very okay for the price we paid.

They were really nice and let us park our car in the driveway even before check-in.

Having an option to have a double bed would’ve been nice but not a fault.

The lady was very hospitable and welcoming. Good communication too prior to arrival. Great location and it was quiet at night.

We felt terribly unwanted. We received this email one week before the stay : "Hello. Im terribly sorry—we need to cancel the reservation. My mother will be taken to the hospital to be operated on next week and we need a room in the house available for a 24 hour carer." I asked the lady in charge if she has an other solution for us as it was late to find something else convenient and after a few exchanges, she finally said she can keep our reservation. I suppose booking.com rejected her demand Once we were there, we met the mother who was actually in charge, looking perfectly ok, standing and working in the house after her operation. And the carer was actually her daughter who came to visit her and was staying downstairs when home. Upstairs was an other room available next to ours with two beds for renting which were unused. To go to the kitchen, you need to pass through her living room. We felt we were annoying her the few times we used it. The mother also asked us to not use the bath towel left for us in the room if possible. The place looked pretty clean but not sure the bedding and towels have been changed for a while Only one chair in the room of two persons. All the house was impregnated with incense, as was the room. One of the window was broken. It almost fell when we tried to open it. The price was ridiculously hight.

Cute little house. Pleasant neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Close to the bus station and easy to go in the center. Very quite.

The property was not fit for paying guests. Room was not clean, dusty and floor and rug needing a good clean. Personel belongings in the room. Beeping smoke detector outside bedroom door, battery needing replaced, which i told the property owner about on the phone.Shared bathroom not clean. No lock on door,dirty mop in bathroom. Messaged the owner told her we were not staying, reasons as ive just listed. Message me back say i was Racist! I have evidence of this. Pictures and the txt messages. Had to book another place on your website. I will not share photos or txt on here. But i do have them if you require them.

Nothing, we didnt stay at the property. Would zero score of i could.

I did not realize from the information given on Booking.com that the bathroom was shared. I would not have rented it had I known this. The room was very cluttered with the owner's belongings. The beds were hard and lumpy. It did not appear very clean. The towels were draped over the radiator because there was nowhere else to put them. I honestly didn't want to get into the bed after seeing the state of the room. The information on booking said there was a kettle; there wasn't. The bathroom was also very cluttered with the owner's toiletries, personal items, and cleaning supplies. A mop was left standing in the floor. There was nowhere to hang a towel. The bathmat was filthy. I was afraid to use it. The shower was hand held but worked. I could not wait to leave the place. Fortunately, I had an extremely early flight the next morning and was there only long enough for a brief sleep.

Owner was responsive to emails regarding navigating to the property, which was difficult to find even using the included directions. She was home when we arrived and answered the door, though she had left the key out. She made tea for me upon arrival, which was very kind.

Lovely house in a lovely area. Very safe to park on streets outside. Room had everything we needed. Shower was really refreshing and powerful. Walkable into city / bus routes.

Comfortable room in a lovely neighbourhood. Very easy to get to. Hostess Dr Ali was very welcoming and helpful.

The bedroom had no lock and there were other male guests in the house. There was a dark entrance with nobody to greet me. The key was in a basket which anyone could have found and got in and to my room. I was not shown the bathroom and there were no tea making facilities.

The property could be good but it wasn’t ready for guests.

The door of the room was a bit hard to shut and it couldn't be locked. Overall, I felt safe during my stay there but would have felt safer if the door could be locked.

The landlady was very welcoming and we had a long and pleasant conversation. Surprised to know that her daughter and I were studying in the same university!

Excellent accommodation! The room is spacious and very clean, with the bathroom conveniently located next door. The neighborhood is quiet and well-located. The host is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Room full of owners' stuff, second bed was a camp bed. There was no lock on room.door for security and privacy There was only one bathroom used by guests and owners. Still cheap place to stay and with issues addressed, it would be OK..
