The hosts, Andy and Sue, were marvellous. They organised and paid our toll charge, coming up in London. Breakfast was huge with excellent choices. They provided extra milk. Loved having a fridge in the room.

The location was perfect for a wedding we attended nearby. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, Andy and Sue. I would highly recommend this beautiful B&B.

There was no down side to our stay, the road perhaps was a bit noisy but really that is splitting hairs.

I was met at the Pretty Maid B&B by the friendliest owner Andy and his beautiful dog Pepper. The room was lovely, spacious, clean. Beautifully clean bathroom. Bed was comfortable, so good nights sleep. Breakfast the following morning was really tasty, excellent value for money served by Sue Andy’s friendly wife. They are a lovely couple. I can’t recommend Pretty Maid highly enough.

Friendly and helpful couple who made our stay very enjoyable. They let us know that the restaurant next door would give a 10% discount. We decided to go and it was a fantastic meal and the extra discount was a lovely bonus. Breakfast was fantastic and perfectly cooked, also very good portion sizes. My partner had the full English and felt it was cooked really well, I had the Eggs Royal which was divine. Bathroom was stunning and well constructed. Bed comfortable and as it’s a lovely quiet spot we had a beautiful nights sleep.

I dont usually do reviews... but this B&B was fantastic! The hosts were friendly and helpful, and my room was a good size, exceptionally clean and equipped with a fridge, hairdryer and even had quality loo roll in the bathroom ;) I was given fresh milk for my tea instead of those little plastic milk things that nobody likes (its the little things that make a difference!!) I dont usually sleep very well when I am away from home but wow - the bed was so comfy that I slept for 9 hours and I dont think I even moved in the night - bliss! For breakfast I opted for poached eggs on an English muffin and they were cooked to perfection, followed by fruit and yogurt - delicious! I needed to charge my car overnight so used the onsite charger. I just downloaded the relevant app and the host helped me to set everything up, he even checked that my car was charging correctly before he turned in for the night. Wonderful stay from start to finish, I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a friendly, clean and reasonably priced stay in the area.

The team at pretty maid were really helpful and accommodating. It felt more like staying at a family home than being a paying customer. And the fact that there was a gorgeous little puppy greeting us each morning was an added bonus! We had just gotten married and we were afforded the luxury of a breakfast bought straight to our room the morning afterwards aswell! The whole service was above and beyond and I can’t recommend it enough!
