Asked for poached eggs on toast with bacon, only got one egg and a piece of bacon that never saw the grill ( raw). No food availability in the evening only pizzas. Chef off sick and no back up.

Nothing to complain about. The bedrooms could maybe do with an update sometime, but I'm also aware that keeping the rooms comfy and as they are maybe helps keep the costs down.

The staff were great, the public restaurant and bar areas were lovely and that really helped for a great stay. The location and view were great too. All in all, it was a great stay and so handy for our trip to a concert at The Eden project.

Not much water pressure in the shower. Decor was a bit tired in places, but you could see where improvements have been made.

Had a nice friendly welcome. Great location, plenty of parking. Sea view from the room which was nice. Breakfast was decent and kept me going until dinner. Good road links to much of Cornwall.

Bed is not very comfortable . We couldn't have a shower because of very low water pressure . I'm a bit disappointed .

The pillows were so flat, bed a bit hard for me. Some mould in bathroom especially between tiles. Room was bit of a mismatch of colours, fine with light out though.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was delicious. Loved the sea view from bar and restaurant. Nice quiet bedroom.

The room we stayed in could have been a bit more updated with furnishings and some of the areas in our room could have been a bit better with cleanliness over the weekend. Plus the pillows could have been a bit softer to sleep on. Otherwise the room wasn't too bad.

It was situated in a lovely area. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking outside for your car. The hotel was easy to find on our arrival. Lovely views from the front of the building and in the restaurant.

Bathroom fittings looked a bit dated but everything worked and was clean.

Lovely wide range of comfortable seating in the lounge. You could eat out on the patio and enjoy the view or at the bar, they were happy to service your choice. Nice staff who gave me local knowledge as to what/where I could go to visit.

The bed was too hard for me so didn’t have a brilliant sleep but still ok, on the other hand my partner liked it and had a really good sleep Could possibly do with a newer hairdryer as it took a while to dry my hair but apart from that my stay was really nice, staff were wonderful and helpful. It was nice to be able to see the sea from our room which was a nice bonus

The evening meal menu was disappointing- very little choice. We had thought of eating there on the night of our arrival but were put off by it.

Tired in places and our room (20) had a distinct old people ,fousty smell despite being fairly newly decorated and having window open. . Would benefit from a plug in or room fresher in there, I almost didn't want to go back to the room.

There is only 1 negative which was there wasnt a mattress protector on my bed otherwise I would of rated you a 10 for everything

There was a distinct musty smell in the whole area where my bedroom was. No signs of dampness but better ventilation would greatly improve the situation.

Excellent breakfast though didn't have glutton free bread the first morning. Limited Sunday evening menu due to Chefs day off. Choice limited with a good selection but not keen on pizzas or salads. Staff excellent friendly and helpful. Lovely building and gardens to use if weather had been kinder!
