It would have been great to have some milk supplied That's all, otherwise was perfect.

The cottage was beautiful, so cozy, quirky, clean, perfectly located. So spacious, lovely views of the sea. We loved the garden, neighbours were friendly.

The upstairs bathroom ideally should have a frosted glass window or a privacy blind. The plain glass overlooks a neighbour's property which meant you couldn't really use the loo or have a bath with the light on - there's only a flimsy net curtain covering the window which is translucent when it's dark outside. The directions to the cottage weren't too good either. This is no 8 but when you drive down the road, there appear to be two no 8s - it's just not very straightforward. I had to call the owner who was on holiday in France, and I also had to ask a couple of the neighbours for assistance one of which directed me to the hard standing area in order to park the car.

I had family staying in a cottage 5 minutes walk away and we were all there to celebrate a birthday. My cottage had everything I needed for a 2 night stay. The bed was comfortable, the heating was good and warmed up pretty quickly. Shower room lovely, but you must remember to take your towel in with you - I forgot and the shower room is downstairs, off the kitchen so a little bit inconvenient!

Attic bedroom could be a little more luxurious and possibly have a double and two singles rather than four singles.

Spacious and well equipped cottage in convenient and quiet location.

Not a problem for me, but a person who struggles on stairs might want to check details first.

Cost and quaint. Near cliffs for walking. Nice views nearby. Really clean with good wet room shower (and bath upstairs). 2 miles to the beautiful Runswick bay and near enough for a trip to Robin Hood Bay. Dog friendly.

No logs or coal for the fire which I was really hoping would be provided. However we were not cold as heating is very effective.

Lovely cottage. We have stayed before and will stay again. Perfect for our family, with four beds in a room for the kids and a double room for us. We always enjoy staying here. Love the books in the children's bedroom, read one each night to them, much enjoyed 😉 Will be back in June!

Difficult to find parking space and keys to property. Key to main back door needs a wiggle to unlock.

Nice heating system meant we warmed up quickly due to poor weather. Very comfortable bed. We would stay there again as very comfortable and spacious.

We had to take our own towels (which is fine I suppose but they take up space in your bags and most places provide towels) Curtains/blinds would be useful in the bathroom and shower rooms.

Port Mulgrave is very quiet itself, but not too far away from other places depending on what you want.

The coastal walk - Cleveland Way - is just down the road. A good walk to Staithes and Runswick Bay. Very enjoyable. Although, the access down to the sea is extremely precarious! The house is very well equipped.

Upstairs toilet was noisy when flushed, Could do with a couple of pics on wall to make more homely. Would have been good to have some info about local amenities , restaurant/pub menus, and walks etc ( how far to walk to Staithes or Runswick Bay etc) I also thought that fridge was dirty- turns out it wasn't ( as I tried to clean it), but maybe it needs an upgrade? We also struggled to unlock the main door from the porch side.

Great location, walking distance to Hinderwell , Runswick Bay etc, Great value for money Clean property with comfortable beds Had everything we needed for a short stay. Loved outdoor garden space and views to the sea.
