Not sure I’d pay £145 a night to stay here again. To not even have breakfast or anything included. No value for money.

Nice room even tho no window. Bed super comfy and room cosy with nice bathroom.

Location good and easy to find Front of house staff welcoming and professional Lounge /common area that was clean and comfortable to sit and have a drink end of day instead of being confined to room space. Value for money

very well located, walking distance from the city center. the breakfast is small but super yummy. I thought it was a bit expensive but actually the breakfast in the street is basically the same price, with less options.

The reception staff were non attentive, they didn’t give us any information regarding our stay eg when and where breakfast is check out times etc, despite 3 staff members all stood talking to eachother by the reception desk. We also saw them being rude to members of the breakfast staff, in front of guests which was very unprofessional. It also came across that it was inconvenient for us to check out. This was with different members of the reception staff each time. They did not create a welcoming atmosphere for us which was very disappointing.

Great location. We only stayed one night but it was only a short walk to everything we wanted to see with great transport links. Room was very clean and comfy. Shower was excellent. We would definitely recommend it to others and would stay again.

Room and toilet were pretty small, so it might not be ideal for bigger groups. I was hoping for complementary water bottles, but the staff are nice enough to fill up my own water bottle. Breakfast was pretty pricey considering the selections, but nonetheless, I was satisfied.

Staff were friendly and assisted me during check-in and check-out. Room had lots of outlets for you to charge things. The mood lights werrle a nice touch. Room had the essentials: hot water and cold A/C. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean overall.

Shower tray hadn't been cleaned properly & prices jacked up for Fringe and Oasis...somewhat understandable but still didn't like it.

Staff friendly, self-check in a pain after a day of travelling. No breakfast included in the rate despite it being on the Point A site.

If you’re visiting Edinburgh and want to be right in the heart of the city, Point A Hotel is hard to beat. The location is perfect and you can walk to many of the city’s attractions and soak up the vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are spotlessly clean. However, the pricing is quite reasonable for the quality offered, my mornings weren’t as peaceful as I’d hoped; the noise from the cleaning staff made it hard to sleep in, I also think the staff could be a bit warmer and more welcoming. After all, Edinburgh is a city that greets tourists from every corner of the globe, and that first impression counts.
