We loved everything

Pheasant Lodge was absolutely lovely. The lodge felt peaceful and private, with beautiful surroundings that made it perfect for a relaxing break. The interiors were cosy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, giving it a real home-from-home feel. The hot tub was a fantastic touch — ideal for unwinding in the evenings. We loved how well-equipped everything was, from the kitchen to the little details that made our stay comfortable. The setting was also great for enjoying nature and exploring the local area.

Such a beautiful peaceful place and the host was so lovely, very welcoming even was given a bottle of Prosecco and some eggs, bed was extremely comfortable and very homely would definitely stay again

Stunning and immaculate lodge, in a relaxing, beautiful location. The most comfortable bed, and facilities. The owners were fabulous and made us very welcome. Celebrating our recent t engagement, they went over and above:- Prosecco, flower's, balloons and posh chocolates. We loved escaping the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed quality time in the perfect place. Local shops 4 .minutes away, with Carlisle 20mins away. Thank you for having us, and we can't wait to return.

Excellent host, very friendly with great personality and done everything possible to make our stay as nice and relaxing as it could be. The Lodge was spotless and clean, everything worked perfectly. Paid for some extras and the host had them in the lodge ready for when we returned in the evening, really went the extra mile to make it an amazing experience.

That we had to leave!

The chalet is immaculate, comfy, inviting and stunning. Seeing the farm birds around us was breathtaking. And the reception we got from management was the best we've honestly ever had.

We didn't stay for longer!

The lodge was absolutely immaculate,very hospitable hosts,beautiful location very peaceful, upon arrival was greeted with a smile even though we was a tad early we were made to feel very welcome and had a lovely peaceful few days and probably the best sleep iv had in years (the bed was unbelievably comfortable)thank you so much we will definitely be returning.

It's a beautiful cabin, very tastefully decorated with all the comforts you will need. The hot tub and sauna are great for some luxurious relaxation. We got a wonderfully warm and thoughtful welcome. The location is nice being quite quiet and rural & reasonably accessible. Thanks for a lovely stay, We both highly recommend going to stay.

Facilities, attention to detail and the hot tub was amazing

Fabulous attention to detail with 5* comfort including hot tub and sauna…..a real treat to get away from it all, relax and enjoy this top class accommodation which is within easy reach of great golf courses and scenic walking routes…..amazing value for money and such a thoughtful host who does everything to ensure a wonderful stay

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The pictures don’t do it justice when booking… the lodge is absolutely beautiful and stunning when you walk in. The hosts are so lovely and accommodating, very family oriented and there was so many nice things we didn’t expect. It was worth very penny, we will definitely be returning and telling everyone about it! We had such a relaxed and needed weekend away! I would highly recommend staying here, it was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much.

Pheasant Lodge was a home from home with everything we needed and more for our anniversary celebration. We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the hot tub and extensive gardens which we shared with ducks, geese and a peahen. Would recommend.

Amazing getaway, life stress melted and the owners are the most down to earth, hospitable and helpful. They even went to the effort of getting a bottle of fizz, flowers and balloons for my wife’s birthday!

Absolutely nothing not to like!

Everything was just perfect! Lovely, peaceful countryside location. Very relaxing. Lodge was immaculate, very well presented and equipped and extremely comfortable throughout. Hot tub and sauna was an added bonus too! Hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special with lots of little added touches to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Nothing! It was lovely.

From the moment we pulled up, we knew it was what we wanted, and more to the point, needed. Our lives are quite manic and we barely find 5 minutes to sit down so a weekend away was call3d for, and we got it! The hot tub, the sauna, the bed and the sun loungers.Waking up to sunshine, and the beautiful surroundings was an amazing perk. We enjoyed a beautiful couple of days and nights together and loved the company of all the animals that surrounded us too! What a stunning place and we would definitely return, time and time again. Thank you so much for accommodating us.
