Only issue we found was that being on the 6th floor the room was very warm at night even with the window open. We did put the air-conditioning on but it took ages for the room to cool down.

Hotel is located close to the city centre with a 10 minute walk. Room was clean and spacious and staff were friendly.

They don’t seem to have the service and maintenance to keep up with the nice design. The soap in the shower was completely empty and they did not refill it over 3 days.

The shower gel in the container had finished (I tested it against the shampoo and conditioner, which worked perfectly well from an identical container). The extractor fan wouldn’t switch off, even in the many hours between my dropping off my bag and return in the wee hours). And yes, I had switched off the bathroom light! Still I managed to nod off immediately, being so tired.

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the 24 hour front desk was appreciated (I was visiting Birmingham for a concert that finished at 3 am). When I closed the window it pretty much cut out outside sounds of traffic etc.

The area was a bit rough

Location was good. About 20 minute walk to the centre. Staff were great. Had no issues.

The only slight issue we had was the room was very hot, we tried to work the air con but couldn’t seem to set the temperature and cool the room down. We left the windows open whilst we was out which helped but had to close these to sleep as noise from the roads.

The beds were very comfortable, 10/10 sleep. Spacious rooms and well decorated throughout the hotel.

The service rooms didn’t clean our room and the coffee and tea was not enough. But all good. Not a big thing.

When we returned from the theater we were met by a security guard asking if we were.staying in the hotel, we told them the room number and our name and they said " no your not staying here" as he checked his piece of paper, it took a few minutes of discussion before another member of staff came and said yes they are here! All very confusing and upsetting after a great night

Work noises from 9am onwards but it was explained at check-in. No on site car park available but we found on street parking.

Being refurbished and think it reflected in the price, good value for money and only a short walk to venues, Bullring, China Town. Clean. Nice breakfast - freshly baked croissants were the best.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, close to everything I needed, and it was very convenient for getting around. The gentleman on reception was welcoming, polite, and extremely helpful, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. My room was spotless, cosy, and well presented, with a spacious bathroom and a powerful shower that was a real highlight after a long day. Breakfast was very good, with easy booking on the day and plenty of seating available. The only downside was some noise from ongoing renovations, but this is only temporary, not the fault of the hotel, and it would not put me off staying again. Overall, it was excellent value, I felt very well looked after, and I have already recommended the hotel to my family and friends. 🧡

My only complaint is how incredibly warm it is, especially on the top floor where all the heat is rising. The air conditioning doesn’t really do much for the temperature and once you close the curtains it doesn’t matter if you have the window open since it blocked out all the air flow so it ends up being horribly humid as well. This is probably fine during colder months but I think proper air conditioning would be a huge help during the warmer weather.

Everything was clean and comfortable, the shower was amazing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the infused water - especially the watermelon, lemon and mint in the lobby where we’d both get a glass of it every time we went past. The location was great, easy to walk to several parts of the city which was also great to save money too! Easy walk to Chinatown for some amazing food, the sea life centre was very close and perfect for a day out and there’s plenty of nightlife if that’s your thing! Absolutely loved it here and would happily stay again.
