A unique property, in a fantastic location. The Cotswold Way is right on the doorstep and it's only a short drive to Bath. Cozy and warm, great amenities, with THE most comfortable bed. Fantastic spot to watch the sunset (daytime view attached as photo) Great host, on-hand if we needed anything. Will definitely be booking again.

The location was perfect for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Rosalind was super helpful with everything from sending directions, checking in through to checking out. We would definitely stay again.

The outside decking/seating area had a full ashtray from previous occupancy and the fridge had not been cleared.

Not a fan of the bath in the bedroom although understand the layout. The bed seemed comfortable initially, but dipped quite a bit in the middle so while plenty wide enough, ultimately it was not supportive. I think all the lighting needs a bit of attention if possible. Also for a place to be ecologically successful does not mean it has to forgo design and co-ordination. I was itching to break out a bit of glamour!

A stunning location and an unusual property that has gone a long way towards sustainability. The rooms were warm and comfortable and we had everything we needed. A great selection of books and games as there was no TV. We had reasonable internet so were able to access things online through our laptops when we wanted to. Our host went out of her way to bring some extra seating when we had guests at dinner on our second night. They also loved it by the way. It is a great space - plenty of room

Everything was great really. Only thing we missed a little was a TV for a movie night. But not a deal breaker honestly.

The location, the host and the cottage itself was great. It had everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen and all esential items were present. Loved burning the logs and Rosalind was very helpful in everything.

The WiFi wasn’t great during our visit.

This is a beautiful little place, tucked away but right near the Cotswold Way and has the most fabulous views. It’s cosy but with plenty of room and facilities for two, including space for running shoes and walking boots. There was also coffee and tea etc. Very lovely.

Having to go home

the cottage was perfect. The wood burning stove and the incredible views; the costwold path immediately two steps away...just perfect.

a beautiful cozy and comfortable cottage located in a quiet location but 10 minutes away from Bath City centre. the cooking facilities were good and there were lots of games to play. the log burner kept the cottage so warm and the host was responsive and helpful. the bath is lovely and big. you can walk straight onto the cotswold way from the cottage. we shall return.

A quiet, very much in demand, place to stay. Absolutely adored being here, and I wish I had been able to stay longer. It's different, it's relaxing, and Rosalind, your hostess, has a wonderful general knowledge of the area.

Lack of good internet was the only downside. But not a big deal.

Such a perfect place to switch off and unwind. The garden platform is perfect to take in the view and listen to the birds. The cottage is perfectly equipped with everything you need and the location, whilst off the beaten track, is so close to Bath. This is our second visit but won't be our last.

Unfortunately garden was not maintained so could not enjoy the evening sunset. Would have been great to be notified about that beforehand.

The peaceful atmosphere, friendly neighbours, wondeful host. Amazing to watch nature through the window, brilliant views. Close enough to drive into Bath but away enough for the peaceful countryside.

Really lovely cottage, located bang in the countryside but 10 minutes from Bath. Really comfortable, with everything you need. Warm, well furnished and a little bit quirky in a very good way. Will definitely be back!

Worst was difficult access in parking and reversing the car. Which is all over England anyway. You just get used to it

Firstly Rosalind is a wonderful host. We wanted for nothing. The location is great. Finding out that the Battle of Lansdown 1643 occurred 50 mt out the back and views of Wales and the Severn Bridge was so cool

The house was beautiful really cozy. Perfect location for trips to Bath, Bristol and Stonehenge and for getting away from everything at the same time.
