Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Fabulous location, high quality immaculatly presented sea view rooms above Saint Aubains harbour, with amazing views over the Baie de Saint Aubin, best breakfast on the island served on the flower adjourned south facing terrace lawns with many unique meal choices every day , nothing is too much trouble for Anita, her mother and the kind team at this family run guest house. Keep going back for their welcome smiles. Saint Aubains Harbour just below the Guest House has many restaurants, direct bus routes and cheap parking in the harbour if you bring your car.

This was a 5 star bed and breakfast. The staff really looked after you and made you feel really welcome. Breakfast was 5 star too. I travelled with my mum for her 80th birthday and we both had fantastic rooms with fantastic views. We didn't want to leave!

The panorama was decorated in a typical English style. I was there for 14 days for an English language course. The college, restaurants, supermarket, small shops or the beach could be reached in a few minutes on foot. The breakfast was freshly prepared according to the menu. Yoghurt, muesli and fresh fruit was always there

SwitzerlandNot so much a thing we did not like, but a fair warning that this hotel might not be the best choice if you have mobility issues.
We enjoyed our time at the Panorama immensely due to the friendly, welcoming and professional staff. The whole building oozes elegance and atmosphere. Our room was well appointed and had the most spectacular view over the bay of St Aubin. St. Aubin is the perfect place to stay, it has plenty of restaurants, some shops and a good bus connection to other parts of the island, but is a bit more quaint and quiet than big sister St Helier, which lies at the other side of the bay. Breakfast was excellent with a menu to choose from and food cooked to order. The quality of the breakfast dishes was superb! The garden was well maintained and there was coffee and tea in the conservatory all day. Communication before and during our stay was also excellent.

United KingdomFantastic location. I’d a Sea View Room, and the view was amazing. The landlady Jill and her husband John went out of their way to make me fell welcome. I’d to go to work very early every morning and Jill left a breakfast out for me for each day which was very kind. It’s a very short walk down the hill to the bars and restaurants so very well located. I’ll definitely stay again.

What a fabulous hotel. Jill, Anita and all the staff were amazing. They are so attentive and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was amazing with added small touches like home made scones or brownies. A couple of days we were up & out early so they provided sandwiches and organised the taxis. I have to mention the beautiful bathroom. The shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Jersey next. Stunning views over the harbour and St Helier.

GermanyIn my room I could hear everything through the wall. I think it was because I had a very exposed room where there was some through traffic. After two days I got used to it and didn't even recognise it anymore.
Wonderful place on earth! Anita and Jill are the most welcoming hosts. The hotel has been family-run since 1977 and the atmosphere of hospitality is evident throughout. The breakfast deserves special mention. Every day you can choose from delicious dishes such as English breakfasts in all variations or oatmeal, cereals and freshly squeezed juices. The team also offers specials such as pancakes or avocado toast.

Perfect location with spectacular views. Very welcoming family owners and staff. Room was great with large bed, large TV, fridge and safe. En suite bathroom was large with bathrobes, slippers and lovely toiletries. Large rainfall shower. Nothing was to much trouble for the hotel team. Breakfast was amazing, continental followed by a wide selection from a menu, all cooked fresh and to perfection, fresh coffee and daily specials offered and to top it off you ate overlooking the bay, wonderful.

United KingdomAccess for resident guests is either by a steep climb from the sea front to the back of the hotel, or on arrival, by a short but uphill walk to the front door - which was fine so long as you took your time :-)
The Panorama is a unique hotel. The building is old but the rooms and facilities are completely up-to-date and it has the most beautiful gardens. Our hostess, Jill, could not have been any more welcoming or accommodating throughout our stay. The whole staff were charming and efficient. The breakfasts in particular were outstanding and the cleanliness of all the public areas was exemplary.
