Beautiful decor, the decking out the back with sea views was a bonus, beds were comfortable location a stones throw away to the beach, bars and restaurants. Very relaxing and host’s were easy to comunicate with.

Everything was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and decorated and very comfortable. It’s perfectly placed in the village but still very quiet. There is literally nothing not to like here

We loved the location and sea views , we loved the quality of decor, we loved the added bonus of the outdoor shower , we loved that all of our needs were met and we had such a restful nights sleep in the lovely beds.

Oyster Cottage enjoys a central location in New Quay, a minute or so away from the main shops, restaurants and the beautiful sandy beach. The inside of the cottage is much larger than the website photos show which was a nice surprise! The property was very comfortable and clean and the rooms have loads of nice touches including portholes in one of the bedrooms! If you are planning a trip to New Quay we can highly recommend a stay at Oyster Cottage.

If I could have changed the weather it would have been a bonus.

Everything about the property was excellent. Absolutely fully equipped and could not ask for anything more. The beds were so very comfortable and we loved the property. We Will definitely be coming back.

The only thing is the front door doesn’t feel very secure. The bottom bolt couldn’t be used which meant in the wind it moved a lot creating a noise. Also, the fan in the bathroom downstairs doesn’t work.

Such a lovely cottage and bigger than it looks from the outside. It was perfect for our family of four and our young girls loved the bunk beds. It’s a great location as it’s so close to the action but far enough that you’re not disturbed from it. The decor is so nice and nautical and the furniture comfortable. It was clean throughout.

A few minor niggles: spacious kitchen but no designated larder space. Locks on the bathroom door not working. Locks on the main doors (front and back) not very secure. No proper space to hang clothes in the main bedroom.

The only thing I have to pick at is the front door, it rattles even with a slight breeze. and through the night kept me awake. All that is needed is the bolt on the bottom fixing to hold it firm.

loved the property, it had a homely feel to it, decor was very well fitting for the location, it was comfortable, close to all amenities, didn’t use our car at all whilst we were there.
