A pitty that there is a busy road 10m from the rooms terrace. Also, the ( backup ) restaurant is not coosy at all. Its an empty white box without any windows. The pub has a much better atmosphere.

We had the disabled room with a view & it was spacious & comfortable however the bathroom had an overwhelming smell of drains & sewage with a damp feeling

The food. The chicken dish was tasteless. The lamb itself was good but the strange strong sweet vanilla sauce on the dish was overpowering and unpleasant. Sorry but honest.

The staff the young Irish Man behind the bar & English girl serving food were excellent. The lovely Australian girl on reception was very helpful and kind.

Our room was right above the kitchens so we had a lot of noise from the extractor fan, which we appreciate couldn’t really be helped. We also could not find anywhere to park. There is a small car park at the front of the hotel and a slightly larger one to the rear but with customers who were dining rather than staying, also using the car park, space was at a premium!

We had a well clean room with good facilities and en-suite bathroom. The member of staff who served breakfast was really lovely. She went out of her way to make us & our dog feel welcome. Thank you!

The room was small, dark and hot. It had no view (overlooking the carpark) and the kitchen extractor fans made the night’s sleep noisy. The beds need a mattress topper; you can feel the springs.

The food was good; fresh and cooked well.

There was nothing we did not like.

Lovely location, enabling us to visit Oban for an afternoon before continuing our tour travelling northwards the following day. Lovely view to the sea, loch to the front with a seal visit in the morning. The tidal rapids were very interesting. Great dining in the evening and breakfast in the morning.

Changes to the restaurant was a disappointment, the open refreshing views over the water are gone now it’s a very hot stuffy dark box room.

Parking was very difficult because of the restaurant and they had many tables set up in the parking lot for patio dining.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was very clean and accessible.

Petty and by no means a reflection on our wonderful stay but proper orange juice at breakfast would be very welcome.

Great stay. We were in one of the king rooms with a balcony overlooking the sea. Fabulous. We watched the sunset with a sundowner in hand. Our 5th stay in an area worth visiting. Recommended.

We could hear the tv loudly from the room next door and also snoring! There was no need for the large screen tv in the bar area, and breakfast portions were a little small, e.g, the milk jug was only just enough for 2 people to have one cuppa.

Friendly staff, very accommodating when our arrival time changed due to traffic.

Reception area under staffed, left waiting for a while could see staff in bar restaurant but everyone busy. Tiny TV.

Lovely and clean, nicely decorated, warm shower, warm room (bit too warm as had to sleep with window wide open) free car parking, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good

The breakfast was very disappointing. The buffet selection was poor, some parts of the full Scottish breakfast was inedible it tasted like and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp keeping warm for hours. 1 breakfast came missing beans however even after asking for the missing beans they still didn’t come

The restaurant suffered from no natural light and was very plain. (But the bar was great).

We were able to upgrade for a little extra cost. Lovely view. Food was exceptionally good.
