There was nothing to dislike.

Our host Nigel a delightful Cornishman, has made this B&B, set in a quiet village, an exceptional place to stay. Every little detail in the B&B and the service provided has been honed to perfection. From a warm welcome to the beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean en-suite rooms with a balcony providing spectacular views over the Cornish countryside. Fully equipped Apartments are also available. Tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk provided, a fridge with 2 courtesy drinks and complimentary chocolate bars. TV, good Wi-fi, power shower, comfortable bed, quiet and dark at night for a restful nights sleep. A fine breakfast is served here too, with lots of choice. An ideal base for visiting the Eden project, Heligan gardens, Mevagissey, Truro and The Roseland Peninsula. There is a pub, Hawkins Arms serving meals and well kept beer, a Tandoori restaurant, a Chinese takeaway and a Fish and Chip takeaway just a five minute walk. If you fancy a takeaway Nigel offered to supply cutlery and plate to eat it at the tables and chairs on balcony. There is plentiful free safe parking. Overall we found the accommodation and breakfast very good value for the price paid.

Nigel was the perfect host very welcoming & friendly. The rooms were excellent, comfy bed in a countryside location. The breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day. Nigel gave us a few tunes on the accordion. Thoroughly recommend this location.

Great location in the village next to a petrol station for anything you need. Lovely field at the rear of property giving a great view and sometimes deer if your lucky like we were. Nigel the host couldn't do enough gave us a bigger room for free because no one else was using it.

Very clean and beautifully decorated rooms. Nigel the host is very friendly and helpful too. He welcomed us and allow us to view the premises. It is a nice and quiet area. Perfect for a break!

No complaints at all, just a shame my time ran out

Nigel is a very friendly and accommodating host. Takes a personal interest but isn't intrusive. Plenty of local facilities if you don't fancy moving far and the balcony view is fantastic with lovely peace and quiet for a morning coffee. Breakfast is highly recommended and I would stay again.

Lovely and quiet location, all you could hear was the birds singing. The balcony was an added bonus and a little sun trap too. The host was wonderful. Breakfast was perfect, what ever we wanted. Definitely recommend this place. It's a gem.
