Booked during a local sports event and was very pleased. The room was clean, with a very comfy bed and good facilities. WiFi was reliable and parking was easy and free. Overall, great value and would stay again.

Visited for a nearby conference and had a brilliant stay. The room was spotless and very comfortable, with great facilities throughout. Free WiFi and parking made everything smooth. Fantastic value for such a well-kept hotel.

It used to be a government building, so there was a pillar in the middle of the room, which the tv was mounted on, it was easy to forget when walking past resting in a few good cracks on the head from the corners of the tv! The false ceiling was sagging and made noises which made me worry it was going g to fall down! That being said, the staff were all absolutely exceptional and went out of their way to help us, huge thanks to all.

The bed provided for a disabled guest would have been unusable and needs to be replaced. The food available in the restaurant was not great. Although the room was advertised with breakfast this was only continental and cooked breakfast was an extra.

Our second visit to this hotel and the room was very good, large and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable . It was good to have a chair each in the room with a small writing table.

We had room 2 which got the kitchen smells - hopefully, other rooms wouldn’t have this problem. The bathroom needs a bit of sprucing up. The included continental breakfast is very poor so we paid £5 extra per head to have the cooked breakfast which was very nice.

Good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. Room was spacious.

The offer included breakfast, however, when checking in, it was a continental style, cooked was an extra £5 for cooked. We had cooked the first day, but it was only average, we didn’t bother the second morning.

The hotel was relatively good value. We had an executive room, which was spacious with a large seating area. I would class it as a budget hotel suitable for a short stay

Breakfast choice of continental was not present when we ate at 8 am. Pastries not replaced and only white loaf offered for toast.

Not much choice of continental as pastries not been replaced when eaten previously. No choice of bread, just white loaf. Staff were very helpful particularly the young barman/waiter. He went out of his way to ensure our meals and drinks were just as we requested. Staff in general friendly and polite. Room was a good size with air conditioning and good facilities.

It needs a good painting all over The decor was outdated spongy wallpaper painted very badly . Dust on floors behind chairs and table cobwebs on aircon above bed . No glasses in room, and only 1 normal coffee the rest was all decaf . 1 pack of 3 biscuits between 2 adults . Old fashioned bulky bath a shower tap and black scale in the toilet. Black sealer in corners of tiles around bath .

The property was very spacious and quiet rooms are lovely and big and the bed was amazing. Having to be able to sleep with the door open onto the small balcony was really lovely .

A cooked breakfast was £5 extra each morning. Although the hotel advertised free breakfast, didn’t say this was just a continental breakfast. Awful instant coffee in coffee urn - though I realise this is a personal choice, why not filter coffee?
