The only thing that I could say wasn’t ideal it’s the fact that the pub is open until 1am which is completely fine with me, but people with sleeping problems might have a tough time.

I loved the location. Literally 2 minutes walk from Hackney Central, probably not even that. Close to breakfast places, gym just around the corner and the pub on top of which the hotel is located has amazing beers and even better food.

Very near Hackney Town Hall as we went for a wedding. Staff allowed us to check in early and it was nice having pre drinks in the pub. Fan in the room was needed and very much appreciated.

Good location, central to Hackney. Very friendly staff. Location in a quiet side street and you do not hear the pub at all. The room was very nice, very clean, and had everything needed.

Not the fault of the pub - my stay coincided with a very hot spell of weather, so the lack of air conditioning meant that the room was quite warm.

24 hour access. Good facilities with everything you could need in the room - even an honesty box for device charging cables!

No aircon in the rooms and the fan was very small made it a very uncomfortable stay and had to leave early on the morning with it being far to hot in the room.

Not very soundproof and a lot of noise from the streets or just people walking on the hallway. got a very hot day and there was a lack of adequate cooling systems, just a fan that did not cool properly. The bathroom has a bad pungent smell anytime the tap is turned on or the toilet. Overall ok experience.

The beds were comfy, good location. The room had plenty power sockets. Staff were nice and polite.

Excellent location for a wedding at Hackney Town Hall. Quiet as it is on a small pedestrian street. Easy to get into central London (30 minutes).

The entrance from the main street where the taxi drops people off isn't very pleasant but the back of the building was much more welcoming. The stairs were narrow and steep to carry up suitcases especially for people a bit older with any mobility issues. The room was so hot it wasn't comfortable even with the fan supplied. The shower was more like a trickle difficult to rinse yourself down so could have been better. The door from the pub wasn't as secure during opening time.

Location was great for what we needed, was clean, we had a choice of tea, coffee, bottles of water on arrival and toiletries, bed was comfortable. The security was good from the back entrance and we were given fobs to get in and out aswell as a key to the room.

Bathroom needed to be decorated, decent shampoo and conditioner needed as room was not cheap. The room should have a little fridge and it needed to be painted. Also the hair dryer needs to be electrical tested as it hadnt been tested for a year.

Expensive for a pub. Pub closed half an hour before advertised time when we had just got back from a concert. Staff made it clear that it was our bad luck...

Very creaky floorboards! We felt sorry for anyone beneath us. The bed was just 4ft6" and far too small for us so we didn't sleep well at all. Another time we would book a better room. We were on the second floor and there's a very narrow, steep staircase. It didn't matter to us, just be aware it's an old building and there's no lift.

Absolutely wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. Great bar. We didn't eat here but the food looked good. Very nice room and very clean/tidy. The room facilities were great - tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, water, etc - some decent (and much more expensive) hotels have stopped doing these so it was really appreciated. There's no breakfast option but there are lots of places within a few yards. It's a lovely pub and we'd stay here again.

Room number 3 lock on door broke completely not the owners fault. but it was very loose dedefinitely needs attention
