Wonderful, best I have ever stand at, breakfast was in good environment were the chef cooked in same room and you could to everybody who stayed the night before shame don’t do evening dinner

We had an upgraded room but the only thing that let it down.....the toilet seat!!! It was far too small for the actual toilet and was fitted badly, purely because it was far too small. Wish I took a photo

This was our 2nd visit. Once again we were met with a smiling face. Our room was spacious and clean with plenty of towels, toiletries, coffee, tea etc.... As before, breakfast was sooo good. Andy completely ignored my request for 1 of everything. Instead I got 2 of everything and managed to eat it. The location is excellent for exploring the countryside of the South Downs National Park and beaches near Worthing. There are 2 very good pubs in Patching. The Fox is closed on a Tuesday evening so we ate at The World's End, which was very good indeed.

Very hot and humid night. Although the room had an electric fan heater with an option which allowed me to blow cold air around the room, it was not really up to the job. A larger fan or sleep friendly air-conditioning unit might be worth considering.

Breakfast excellent and cooked to order tableside with humour. Excellent selection of cold items and fresh fruit as well.

Not a hotel! you have to walk down the road to one of the two pubs nearby for a drink or evening meal

The grounds were superb, while still a country retreat with country walks and a homely feel,( and exceptional wedding venue) the breakfast was wonderful fresh fruit, cereals, toast, full English or continental, as much as you want and cooked fresh in front of you coffee or tea, catered for any dietary requirements

Fantastic location, surrounded by fields and trees, but very accessible from the main A roads. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Andrew the breakfast chef in particular, was a bright and breezy character to get your day going with a bang. Ben his substitute was really good too. Between them they cooked up whatever we wanted for breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for them and their servers. The rooms were basic but well enough appointed and spotlessly clean. We absolutely loved our stay here and can’t recommend it highly enough.

A beautiful place, the property was spotless and beautifully maintained. Dave, the chef, did a fab job of breakfast and was so friendly and humorous. The waitresses were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. So much to choose from for breakfast, plenty of choice for everyone. Our room was beautiful and exactly as shown on the website. Well light up in the evenings too. So peaceful and relaxing. We hope to come back in the future.

Bathroom door would not open fully with loo seat down. Catch on bathroom door a bit of a hazard (husband sustained small injury). Choice of tv channels would be improved with satellite or cable tv.

The proximity to Arundel was excellent just a few miles. The room was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was so homely as you sit with the team who are cooking your order. The suggested location for the evening marl was first class. ALL the team were so helpful and attentive.

Fabulous location . Lovely walks nearby . Very comfortable bed and good facilities. Very clean . Lovely grounds . Great staff - friendly , welcoming and professional. Outstanding breakfast with funny , friendly chef and excellent waitress.
