We love staying here, the hosts are very welcoming and the facilities our very good. There is a great choice for breakfast outside the accommodation, unfortunately we had a very early flight so did not anything that early. We are always amazed how quiet it is and tranquil it is when we stay.

The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The owner David was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our stay, we were going to a wedding which was just a short drive away. There were good choices for breakfast, snacks and drinks available and lots of parking. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again soon.

David was extremely welcoming and helpful.The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The selection of breakfast items was excellent, with lots of choice. It was also nice to be able to purchase soft drinks, snacks, and chocolate via an honesty box. We were even able to sit outside in the garden and enjoy the sunshine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it is of course super convenient for Gatwick.

The location is very close to where we parked our car while we were on holiday. We arrived late and left early but the breakfast provide was excellent with a very good selection to choose from. We would have liked a longer stay and have booked to stay again later in the year. The room we stayed was a good size with very good en suite facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The room was set back from the road and it is surprisingly quiet considering it is so close to Gatwick airport. The off road parking is very good and it was close the room we stayed in.

The room was lovely - everything you could want, and a bit more. The hist thought of everything, decorated nicely, very clean, and some great personal touches such as sweets by the bed, snacks, breakfast (including packed breakfast for my early flight), and a surprise snack bag for my drive home after he collected me from the airport. Fantastic for an overnight stay to make your airport flights stress free .

The room was really warm and we couldn't open the windows enough to cool it down. There was no fan, and we didn't realise that the radiator was on full until the morning. We are used to sleeping in a cool space with open window, and I'm sure that if we had asked for a fan, one would have been provided, but it was the middle of the night by the time we realised that we were really hot, and the morning before we realised that the radiator was on. This is easily sorted and next time we stay, we will check the radiator and ask for a fan :)

Location was excellent and service wonderful. Everything was organised and spotless and hosts went out of their way to accommodate. I recommend this as a place to stay and would certainly stay there again.

There were a few things which we would have liked to have had but which would not deter us from staying again. 1. We prefer firmer mattresses 2. Those who used the main bathroom/shower room commented that it would have been better if there was a blind over the window as they felt a bit exposed, especially at night and a bathroom stool/cabinet would have been helpful to put things on

This was a lovely property , conveniently located for the Cathedral, where we attended a wedding and convenient for all the shops and restaurants in the town. Parking was next to the property and easy. The property is very cute and cosy and the furnishings and fittings were of a very high quality. The quality of the sheets, bedding and towels were excellent and everything was very clean. It was lovely to have the small sitting room and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. We would happily stay again.

Absolutely nothing could have been better

Everything. The owners are very welcoming and the facilities top notch. The lodge is very convenient for Gatwick Airport and transport arrangements to/from the airport are without fault. A pleasant bonus is a goodie bag in the car on returning. Contains snacks a a bottle of water. This is the 2nd time staying at Oak Tree Lodge and it is now firmly my choice when flying from Gatwick.

Ventilation could be better in bedrooms as windows were wet with condensation,but not a great worry when the room was spotless.

Personable service and extreme efficiency in dropping off and pick up from airport,plus car stored safely within a compound next to accomodation.They provided a very nice packed breakfast for us to eat at the airport and also bottles of water in our car when we returned. Little things like this make a difference.

The property had ample parking, it was away from the road, so it was quiet. The breakfast selection was very good. The bed was very comfortable, it was nice to have two seats to relax in after a very long drive from Heathrow.

Nothing to not like - place is lovely! Maybe option of cafetière coffee rather than instant would have been nice but that's just being fussy!

Room & ensuite was lovely, clean and spacious. Hosts have thought of everything you might need; hot water bottles, water, snacks. You can buy items you might have forgotten. Really good continental breakfast. Lovely comfy bed. Would go back and can wholeheartedly recommend.

Second time we have stayed. Personally I would like a collapsible table in the room to make eating breakfast easier. For two people the small table by the arm chairs is a little low and small. The desk is taken up with tea and coffee making gear. The decor is good but the skirting boards could do with a good recondition to make them look a higher standard- wall paint on some. There are areas of black mould in the shower room. These a small criticisms but would raise my rating from good to excellent.

Location to Gatwick. Quiet and good parking. Comfortable bed. Welcoming owners. Good breakfast. Extra bathroom supplies for guests who may have forgotten things. Clean towels and bedding.

The only think I didn't like was the location, but that can't be helped. We needed to be there close to the hotel where the competition was but it was a short enough distance to Gatwick airport and to where we needed to be.

The location is in the middle of nowhere, but it was close to where we needed to be. In between the rooms is a counter top with lots of breakfast selections of cereal, toast, chips, muffins, snacks. There is also a mini fridge with drinks like milk, butter, juices, carbonated drinks for a fee. I am severely lactose intolerant and David had prepared lactose free milk which was delicious and vegan butter which was so kind and considerate. I loved everything about the place. David and Richard went out of their way to get me things that I needed and couldn't get due to lack of transportation and time constraints. It is newly renovated and kept very clean; made you feel like you were at a hotel but a nice comfy cozy hotel. There was a personable touch and we were always treated warmly. The pillows and blankets and mattress were just right as well. I would definitely book to stay here again.

Nothing to complain about, really enjoyed my stay.

The room had a modern but rustic feel at the same time. David the owner was friendly and informative. Breakfast was lovely, was a help yourself set up. David acknowledges that the phone signal in the area is next to zero, so has great WiFi to make up for it. Bathroom was done up to a good standard too, towels provided too. If I was in the area again I would book.
