Nice location located South-East of Birmingham, 45mins drive in and 10mins drive into Solihull. Impressed with grounds, the hotel itself and welcome by staff. Room was spacious, nicely furnished and a good size, bright bathroom. A popular function and wedding venue, but also proved to be a comfortable relaxed accommodation. Good cooked breakfast too.

I was staying over for an event in the banquet hall at the rear of the hotel. Lovely venue and great service. My bedroom was spacious, scrupulously clean with super tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was generous and tasty.

TV was located at 90 degrees to the bed so impossible to watch without getting neck ache.

Room cleanliness and standard of fixtures and fittings was great. Ensuite and shower were fantastic. Ample parking and very picturesque settings. Had an excellent nights sleep so top marks for the mattress!

A beautiful hotel in a super location for us. Our room was so grand with a four poster bed, a lovely surprise. We only wish we were staying for longer. The staff were really attentive, helpful and friendly too.

The Sunday lunch was absolutely delightful the best Sunday lunch we have ever tasted . The Staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was not do difficult. we will defiantly stay again in the summer room 16 had a balcony which was beautiful in th e sun. thank-you for a lovely stay. kind regards Jon and Deb Ford

There were a few holes (presumably after a refit) in one wall of the bathroom that should really be finished off better. Minor issue - felt like they were on a very tight budget as we were politely asked if we could relocate to the lounge just after finishing dinner (and at breakfast) so they could get the room cleared/reset. This was after we'd arrived at 7.30 for dinner but were held in the lounge area and not actually seated in the restaurant until 8 20.

Location great, room 5 was enormous, very clean with everything we needed. Nice spacious bathroom with huge freestanding bath and large shower. Both evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Staff very pleasant and attentive.

The only issue I would share is that the girls working the breakfast service, whilst being perfectly friendly, attentive and cheerful, did conduct some less than professional conversations well within earshot of anyone dining in the breakfast room and you could also hear them shouting to the kitchen team. A small thing that can be very easily addressed.

The hotel is very well maintained and welcoming, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The amenities are all very good quality and the room was very comfortable. The staff were very attentive at dinner due to the fact there was a burns night event taking place which meant the dining room was pretty quiet but the event was quite noisy, we actually didn't mind and the bag piper actually entertained us! Also the disco was shut down at midnight on the dot as promised which was a relief as our room was directly above the room the event was in.
