I needed to change room. As I wasn't getting a WiFi signal. Michael had sorted the problem in an hour and actually moved me into a better room. It's a great location,close to everything Thanks again Micheal.

No WiFi in first room. Guests need to clean up after themselves.. Walking into a poo stained toilet at 7am wasn't pretty.

The two bed room was not big enough with our two suitcases. We also weren't aware of sharing a bathroom.

The location was great to get into Edinburgh. The town of Haddington is quiet and charming with enough options for food around. For the price we paid, the accommodation was as expected: simple. There is a kitchen where we were able to prepare some food and hot drinks. The bathrooms have hot water and are fairly clean. If I’m not mistaken, someone from staff came in ever day to check on the bathrooms and kitchen and have them a basic clean.

The room was a little gloomy and had a musky smell. The mattress was very worn and therefore rather uncomfortable. I killed at least 10 moths during our stay, so they are definitely nesting somewhere and should be get rid of. The floor was a little sticky, so I was wearing shoes at all times. The bathrooms are shared, which wasn’t a big problem because we could choose between the bathroom in the basement and the first floor so we almost always found one that was not occupied. But of course it takes away from a feeling of comfort not to have your own bathroom.

The shared bathroom was mouldy, shower had a lot of mildew, only blinds in the bedroom which blocked out very little light, very noisy when other guests were moving around and noise from outside in the early morning.

Clean and comfortable right in the middle of town, all you need for an overnight and a kitchen available to use which I hadn't noticed when booking so this a bonus. Nice and quiet too!

Access to the property was straight forward , key case easily accessible .

The room was very small , the windows were very dated and drafts blew straight through them . Bathroom very small , shower leaked .

Owner was very welcoming with information and updates prior to my stay. Easy information to find the property and access was as described

WiFi was intermittent (could have been the storm). Property was a bit echoey so could hear other residents so not a great night's sleep.

Location spot on..perfect. little village .to walk around is beautiful 😍

The musty smell/dirty carpet/soft mattresses joined together to make a double bed.

Noisy guest couldn’t sleep didn’t meet or see the owner must’ve been hiding cause he knew how bad it was.

The host was amazing being very understanding over a mix up with our rooms (our side) and meeting us to figure this out and give us a room key etc also behr polite , helpful and organized. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and the location is ideal . We have a lovely stay as a family group of us were done for a wedding . Thanks very much we would absolutely recommend this property and would return the lady who came the next day to clean etc too was very friendly and kind
