There was no coffee sachets available to have a coffee. TV was not functioning. Pillows were very firm and quite uncomfortable to use. Mattress seemed to be at the end of its life. Body wash not sufficient for the two rooms sharing the bathroom. Shampoo and conditioner containers empty.

Location was good and area was quiet. Many food options were available only a short walk away.

Communication could have been better. A confirmation near the date would have been good, rather than last minute, when we were already travelling. Quite dusty floors, windows and skirtings.

Decor is a bit of a miss with half finished painting and slap dash paint work. Very heavy front door.

Despite awful reviews on trip advisor we found the rooms clean and great for our one night stay.

Good price compared to city centre hotels, plenty of space and high ceilings, 2 beds giving even more space, facilities like tea offered, easy check in. Comfortable snuggle chair. We stayed in room 6.

There were no towels in room upon arrival. I wanted to have a shower before I went back out. I rang the number provided but no one answered. I'd also requested towels via the app twice, no reply. I rang the number when I got back in to be told the linens delivery was late & because I wasn't in, they didn't leave me any towels! I said you should have a key like normal hotel housekeeping, but they said they didn't! I eventually had towels brought to me after midnight. They had dirty marks in them & one had a big rip down the side. The remote control for the TV was very dirty. I had to clean it with disinfectant spray. I didn't have a drink as the tea bags were loose in a pot. There were 2 spiderwebs with spiders in them in the small room where the toilet & sink were. The light didn't work in the separate shower. Only shampoo was provided in the dispenser, no conditioner or shower gel (which was quoted as being included). Hairdryer was a travel one, so it took ages to dry my hair.

Solo traveller. A large room for myself was a bonus.

The shower was constantly scalding hot or freezing. Both me and my young children got burned due to the inconsistent temperature. The front door slammed shut at all hours which was just the other side of the wall to our beds. The room wasn't properly cleaned and there were stains on the bedding and towels. The bins weren't emptied during our 3 night stay and the outside bins were full.

The room was on the ground floor and we enjoyed having coffee making facilities and private space. There was lots of coffee and milk left for us. We could walk to the main sights (about 20 minutes) and there are shops/cafes nearby.

There wasn't enough towels for us on arrival, although after contacting the owner, we did get more towels - not enough toilet rolls, had to request more, but didn't get them in time before we left the room - pillows were very uncomfortable to sleep on, had to use the cushions instead. Found the room was very warm and we could only open one window - thought the overall cleanliness of the room and bathroom wasn't great. For the budget it was just ok.

Location was very good - handy to get to shops, bus routes, etc - road outside was busy - bit noisy at night, but that's only to be expected I guess!
