There wasn't much we didn't like that the owner could change. It's a little frustrating that if my toddler wanted to go to the pool, the whole party of adults needed to have a haven "play pass" and at £177 for the weekend, is a little steep for how we would have used it. However, that's not George's fault.

Lovely little lodge, comfortable beds and plenty of space to store things. My two year old absolutely loved that she could have a bath, which is unusual in a caravan park! Also great to be a short walk to the beach with the dogs!

Not particularly dislike but the front steps need repair and the lock on the door probably needs a refit, daughter hurt herself opening the door from inside as the gap between lock and door handle is very small so her finger got stuck in there while opening.

    Nothing to complain about :)

Cozy chalet in a holiday park, less than five walking minutes to the Firth of Forth. Bus stop directly in front of the Holiday Park with direct connection to the Edinburgh Waverly Station / Princess Street, 4 buses per hour. The chalet is located in a silent area, but nevertheless close to the "central areas" (Mini market, Restaurant, Bar, Indoor Pool). Walking distance to the Seton Sands village with nice restaurants.

The only fault was the price of the day passes. Our oldest boy 17 was classed as an adult, so it worked out at £177 for 3/4 days. This gives you access to all the facilities at Haven, but some things do cost extra on top. If you don't want to use the facilities, though, then you don't have to pay. There is plenty to do arcade, and restaurants are free to enter 😀

From start to finish, No1 The Glen didn't disappoint. The cabin/caravan was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Great position on the park. Nice quite area. George, the owner, told us what we needed to know and was a great help throughout the stay. With it been on a haven sight, there was plenty to do. There are extra costs to that, saying that though there is an amazing beach not far and a lovely village Port Seton with an amazing costal walk. With a coop and the next town along there are plenty of shops for your stay. The fish and chip shop on sight delivers to the caravan at no extra cost if you fancy a treat, and it's really well priced. We paid £12 for a family bus ticket to go to Edinburgh for the day. Well, worth the money as you could hop on and off the trams while you were there 😉

No complaints about the property which was great. However, Haven wanted £50 per adult and £30 per child for ‘play passes’ which you then had to pay additional for most activities over and above even with the play pass, £160 seemed excessive considering we were only there 3 nights so made our own plans outwith the park instead. The restaurant was also fully booked 2/3 nights, although the staff were very friendly.

Great location. Lovely to be able to sit out on the patio. Beds so comfortable, we all slept very well. Perfect for a family friendly trip with friends which we have rebooked. Great communication with the owner and no issues at all.

Luxury apartment feel within a caravan park
    • Leisure trip

    • Stayed 3 nights

A little maintainance is needed here and there regards to the steps and dip in the balcony and the door is quite stiff, but this is being picky! The park itself needs to have more walkways as not enough safe walking paths within the older area of the caravan park which we felt made it quite unsafe to walk with the dogs.

Brilliant space inside and has a great location within the park with a little space around the lodge making it have an apartment feel to it, and unlike some other caravans/lodges the space around made the lodge feel a little more luxurious. The lodge itself is clean and welcoming inside and had a lovely smell when we entered. Nice and airy with a homely feel.

    Nothing

Lovely Chalet, plenty of room, spotless and homely, we had a great break at the Glen, it's nice and quiet, literally 5 mins from the beach, and mini market, decking area was closed off which is great for our dog and lovely to sit out at night watching the sunset, great value for money, would definitely return and recommend, owner left you to it but was there at the drop of a hat for any questions 😊

Nothing to dislike - cant even grab an idea for an improvement.

Lovely location near to the beach, exceptionally quiet part of the park. Car parking was next to the property which was important for us. Lots of space in the property, which was very clean, fresh and tidy and there was a bath and a surprise on suite ! The kitchen had everything to run up a meal and we were able to sit out and watch the sun go down at 23:00. Owner was very welcoming with a check in text to see if all was well.
