Needed minor facelift - eg bathroom door not shutting properly, room safe not working

    Clean, comfortable, light, great location.

My room was quite small which is expected in homes of this era.

Easy walk to sights of Edinburgh. Quiet neighbourhood. Tastefully decorated. The window in my room overlooked a garden. Comfortable bed and lovely thick towels!

Good location near Dean Village and coffee and restaurant very near. The city center can be reached by bus (bus stop in front of the hotel) or within walking distance (25 min). The bed was comfortable and the shower good.

Charming stay in a peaceful part of Edinburgh

I really enjoyed my stay in this charming hotel in Edinburgh. The place was very clean and well kept. It’s not too far from the city centre, but still in a calm and authentic area, surrounded by lots of greenery and trees. The view from the hotel is beautiful and the neighbourhood feels peaceful and safe. It’s not a modern place, but that gives it a lot of character and makes it feel authentic. Around the hotel you’ll find plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars, so it’s easy to go out for a meal or a drink. A lovely stay, I would definitely recommend it!

No air-conditioning available, it was quite hot when I was there

Loved the stay at the guest house. It's a bit out of the city center but close to stockbridge, which is a nice place on itself.

Room was a bit stuffy but that's difficult to avoid in an older building in the middle of summer.

Staff are friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you so much for your help Agne! Room was quite small but that is to be expected in Edinburgh. Location was great as it was near to bus stops, cafes and restaurants but the property itself is in a quiet residential street.

No regular teabags! The shower was horrible. Rain head which was difficult to turn on without getting your hair wet, then the water floods the shelf. No lift/elevator - not a problem for us. Hilly walk into town. Good exercise!

Quiet area. Very clean. Comfortable bed and nice linens.

The room was a bit small in size, but enough for sleep.

It is very well located and the house is very pretty with all details. They left for us anything we could need and more (tea, coffee, soaps, hairdryer, mushy towels) and also in a nice common living room, that invites to stay, there was info about edimburgh and the festival that was going on.

Parking was a tad complicated. The shower/toilet were across the hall, which I think we misunderstood when we booked the room.
