This hotel has amazing views over Cardiff and was a great place to stay when we were going to an event at Principality Stadium - with the train station a very short drive away. The room we had was huge and really comfortable.

Gorgeous room, spotlessly clean. We arrived late and hadn't eaten so the receptionist/bar man rustled us up a sandwich! There was a wedding party in the hotel ready for a wedding the next day, but our room was on the other side of the hotel and we weren't disturbed at all. Great views over Cardiff!

The dining room. It could be improved with some pictures on the walls as the room wasn't very welcoming. The external paintwork on the windows needed doing as it was flaking off badly and was looking rather shabby from the dining room, and the climbers were blocking the light.

Stunning location. Beautiful views. Loved the terrace. Helpful and friendly staff. Lynne on Reception was particularly helpful. Delicious food in the restaurant. Comfy bed. Great shower.

The bathroom needed updating. Some aspects of the room would benefit from being updated. The cabinetry was very dated. Plug sockets with usb charging would be brilliant.

Welcoming hotel and helpful friendly staff. The location was great and had a stunning view. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee was very good. The updated soft furnishings were lovely.

Great value for a stay at this country estate, juat a short drive into downtown Cardiff. Well maintained rooms, on the spot cleaning and dining staff. A totally relaxing stay awaits!

There is no air conditioning

I stayed here for a friend’s wedding. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful with scenic views. Rooms were clean, though a bit outdated.

Overall the breakfast was good. I think the mushrooms and fruit were tinned which I didnt like and would have liked wholemeal bread. It would have been nice to have had hot milk with the coffee.

The room was lovely, much larger than I expected, with a view over the garden. The communal areas were very good with seats by the windows and very comfortable. Lots of seating on terrace and in the garden.

The responses of staff differed. There were some that offered lots of positive enthusiasm, other staff members less so. For breakfast, the plates weren't always topped up and food missing from the hotplates.

The suite that we stayed in was amazing; especially for the price that we payed it was exceptional. We were really impressed with this space. It came with a side lounge and lovely views of Cardiff City. Picturesque.

the hotel was very impressive on arrival in a stunning location with views of Cardiff and the bay.Parking was no problem.our room was large and beds very comfortable.the bathroom large and luxurious with shower and bath.the staff could not have been more helpfull and polite.Our evening meal in the restuarant was exceptional and at a reasonable price.The breakfast was a buffet with everthing you could wish for.
