Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomExtremely cosy room — compact yet perfectly furnished for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower spacious enough, and the bathroom (with loo and small hand basin) just the right size. The host was exceptionally polite, warm, and hospitable, making me feel instantly welcome. The location was ideal for my overnight work trip near Heathrow T5 — just a 10-minute drive away. It would also be perfect for a single traveller.

AustraliaExcellent place to stay for a night before an international flight as there is a short walk to a bus stop that practically takes you to the front door of Heathrow. Room is complete with all the essentials, perfectly nice sized shower and comfy bed for a good night sleep. Would book again :)

United KingdomNo fridge or microwave which is something I need. However it wasn't listed in facilities so wasn't expecting it but it would be useful.
The room was clean and comfortable. The tower air con machine was a godsend in the hot weather. Great shwker with some amenities left for my use. 10 minutes from my place of work with free on street parking. Very clear instructions to access the room. Off to use their personal microwave was nice although I didn't end up taking up the offer

CanadaIt is quite small, the bathroom being really tiny. For a night or two though it’s manageable. The bed was a bit hard (this is personal preference though).
Easy check-in and check-out. They also let me check-in early which was very appreciated! It was clean and even though it was very warm outside (+30) it was cool in the room with the fan. It’s about a 18 minute walk from the train station, and I think there’s buses that go to the airport nearby. I ended up taking an Uber for £6 which only took 10 minutes. Very convenient location if you’re flying out

United KingdomIt’s far from the train station. I arrived late about after 10pm and there’s no taxis at the station. Of course, I didn’t want to call UBER or so. 18 minutes walk while carrying your luggage wasn’t an easy task. Unless you want to exercise more, just call a taxi if you have a luggage.
That was a mini 5 star hotel room. It’s cleaner than most so called 5 star hotels.

United KingdomIt was a bank holiday so I didn’t find a parking spot closer to the property. The host was fantastic in explaining that it was the holidays and it’s unusually busy BUT I STILL MANAGED TO PARK.
It was a home from home, I met the host who was so warm, hospitable and kind. The room was the perfect size and bathroom was just the right size. It was clean, smelt fresh and welcoming. I was very pleased to see the added extras, desk fan, hair dryer. The prayer Mat and the oud oil were just the nicest touch I’ve ever experienced in my stays all over the area. The privacy of entering and exiting was perfect as you avoided any contact with anyone. The check in process was simple and easy and all the locks and keypad for the key worked well and responsive. The amenities and toiletries were such a bonus I didn’t expect. The room was immaculate and kept really well. Everything was thought about even the multi port charger!!!! I can go on but I really enjoyed my stay. Parking was great! In front of the property on most days! There is a small convenience store 2 minutes walk so ideal!!!! So good for treats and bits you might need for your stay. Minimum purchase is £4 to use card! Thank you for a lovely stay, I really appreciated all the kindness and gestures you gave. It was lovely meeting you, I hope I get to stay again soon. 😊

Extremely cosy room, compact but furnished well for a short stay. Bed was comfortable, has a big enough shower, (I'm 6'1" & 18st), loo & small hand basin. Host was very polite & friendly. 👍🏽 Ideally situated for my overnight stay for work near T5 Heathrow - 10 minute drive. Lovely place, ideal for a single/couple for a weekend. My ONLY (minor) criticism, could do with a small, wall mounted TV? (Sorry to the hosts, was a really pleasant stay & if that's the only fault - for me - it's not really a negative 😊)

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing - all was just perfect
From start to finish - very good communication from owner. Upon arrival it was spotless. The owner dropped in to check things were ok which was a kind gesture. With a direct bus route, a short walk away,to Terminal 5 the location was absolutely perfect. There is a handy corner shop along with a Harvester and McDonald’s about a 10 minute walk away. The WiFi was very good and was able to watch programs on my IPAD. The Bathroom is small but very neatly done up and was functional to my needs. If I was to fly from Heathrow again I would definitely stay here.

United KingdomThe only minor suggestion I could make is it would be good to provide a separate hand towel to dry hands, but that's wasn't actually a problem, it's just a personal preference.
I was so pleased to have found this little gem of a room (in a private self-contained unit with an ensuite attached to a family home). I was visiting the area from London for a Christmas party at nearby Thorpe Park, so I needed a place to stay. I felt safe, comfortable, and welcome - everything was perfect. The host popped by to introduce himself and say hello and offered any assistance if required. He was super responsive at messaging on the app and provided all the instructions required for key collection and on departure. The unit had a comfortable bed, heater, the shower was great, and was nicely decorated, clean, and tidy. A bath towel, hairdryer, hangers, wardrobe, hooks, plenty of sockets, tea / coffee / water, and toiletries such as toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, showergel and handsoap were provided. It was quiet and peaceful when I returned after the party. They kindly allowed me to stay a little past the checkout time to charge my phone a bit more before I made my way to the train station (my bad!). I was able to order uber (taxis) to and from the location easily. It was a 10-15 minute walk to and from the train station, which was for fine for me and was easy to locate using google maps as the directions were accurate. Thank you to the hosts for making me feel safe and welcome when travelling on my own as a woman new to the area.

AustraliaEverything was fantastic. No bad points at all. The only suggestion I would have is to provide a hairdryer. This is a very minor point.
Nest & Rest in Ashford provides a perfect little room, with great service. I 10/10 recommend this if you have an overnight layover and need a simple little place to rest before you continue your journey. - very close to Heathrow. - spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, they've done a really nice job of providing exactly what you need for an overnighter (kettle, water, tea, coffee, power adaptor, toiletries, etc). - quiet neighbourhood, and the room doesn't have much light pollution so it's nice and dark and very supportive for sleep. - the bed is SO comfortable, good quality mattress, good quality sheets (I've just returned from a month in North Africa so this was such a luxury for me!) - shower pressure is wonderful (refer to my previous note about North Africa!) - the hosts are very friendly and lovely, even offering to make me some breakfast in the morning before I checked out - check in is easy - well heated (important as it was -1°C when I arrived), they had the room nice and warm when I arrived around 11pm - wifi is quick - really great value for money. It's so affordable but doesn't at all feel cheap and nasty. They've considered the space well and provide a good quality service. Thanks folks, I'll be recommending you to anyone who might need something similar in the future.
