There is absolutely nothing to dislike

This hotel is above and beyond words can describe. Value for money. Rooms are amazing The decor throughout gives the feeling of pride that has been taken to furnish. The cocktails go beyond the normal offerings. The staff are just lovely. A young team but they work so well together . Food is good. Plenty of parking.

Corridors a little tired. Noisy wedding going on. Rooms nearby would be disturbed. We were far enough away luckily (183)

Beautiful large room (exec king) large bed, sofa and armchair, very large bathroom with bath and large walk in shower, two sinks. Excellent food and service, reasonable prices. We are very fussy!!

The noise from neighbouring rooms and any function being held can also be heard in the bedrooms.

It’s character and decor, perfectly clean with no unpleasant odours. Room sizes were great and extremely comfortable with the addition of a kettle and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits were a treat. Towels were supplied and the bathroom facilities were great. Plenty of parking. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of option for alternative dietary requirements.

I diint like the staff member who thought it was a good idea to empty bottles from the bar into a recycle bin outside just has our niece took her vows in the outside pergular marriage area of which the bins are situated out of sight but not hearshot at the back of this area. Thank you to that person for drownding out the bride and groom at the vital moment of the cerimony by the ear shattering racket of glass on glass. I also didnt appricate the idiot who set the fire alarm off for kicks and giggles on the gollowing sunday morning. Totally not the staffs fault. Also I didnt like the elderly lady who caused a bottle neck because she wanted to look at the "big red flower and potntially caused someone to not to get out of a burning building. I didnt like the family lead by the elderly gentle man who was parked on hatchings with the boot door open causing an hazzard and blocking the evacuation of the hotel resturant. Making people stand and wait for him while he messed about loading his car and getting in the way of the safety of guests. Who had to be told to let oeople pass and they were not there to witness and applause his superier boot stacking skills that went along with his superier entitled attitude. So all in all it was a fantastic stay apart from other people.

Everything if truth be told. We attended a wedding that was outside on a glorious day. We stayed the night in a room that was of period appearance but not dated or shabby in anyway. Perfectly clean and comfortable stay. The breakfast was really tasty even though the fire alarm going off half was through did make the exit and return did make the breakfast go cold. Just got a refill, "don't mind if i do" and started to enjoy the large choice of items quietly in our corner.

The air conditioning in the room came on as soon as you put your key card in, and the temperature didn't adjust when we tried to put it up a couple of degrees. The smoking area outside the bar was far too small, and therefore overcrowded. It was a sunny afternoon and there were 23 people trying to use the tables and chairs allocated in the smoking area, and just 2 people using the extensive no smoking area.

The size of the room was very good, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was good too.

There is nothing I didn’t like about this property

What a fantastic hotel. My room was massive, more like a suite. The staff were so friendly and professional. I felt very well looked after which is always nice when travelling solo for work. The bar and restaurant staff were lovely, and the receptionists really helpful. The air con was much needed in this heat. I had 11 hours sleep. Absolutely perfect will be back.

I only have one complaint. My husband is 84years old, the walk in Shower was amazing but did not have a grab rail which is essential for the elderly. I had to lay a towel in the shower to stop him slipping.

We attended a family wedding. Food, Staff, and the Venue were perfect. Our room was very spacious, very comfortable beds. Lovely bathroom. Spotless.

No facility to access bbc iplayer itvx, Netflix etc on the television, can’t even mirror off a phone etc but the room was excellent otherwise
