The caravan was in a lovely location right next to the river Spey and had everything that we needed for our stay. Scott was very helpful giving us a courtesy phone call on arrival to make sure everything was ok and to give suggestions of potential things to see and do. Its in a great location only a 10 minute drive from Loch Morlich and Loch An Eilean, and it was easy to walk into Aviemore town centre where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. There are also some friendly ducks that will become your best friend if you give them a little food.

Beautiful cabin on fantastic plot with spectacular views. Facility has everything you could wish for perfect self catering break. Short walk to centre of town. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time staying at the Riverbank Lodge. I was with my partner and our 2 year old son who also had the best time. There's not much to do on the park itself however it's located close to everything. There's dvds, playing cards and some other games as well. We couldn't believe how lovely the chalet was when we arrived, it's even got an air fryer in the kitchen! Scott gave me a phone call once I arrived as well which was really helpful. Would definitely stay here again and have been recommending it to everyone I have spoken to since arriving.

The kitchen on site closes very early, which was disappointing but I understand why.

Riverbank Lodge felt very homely, loved having the air fryer for easy meals for the children and the decor was well thought out and beautiful. The kids had a little paddling pool and had so much fun playing out in the decking in it. The highlight was the friendly ducks, we ended up doing 2 bread runs for extra food for them and the kids absolutely loved waddling about with them. Would 100% book this accommodation again.

The view was excellent, watching the wildlife was lovely. Lodge was well equipped, good location within walking distance to the town. Courtesy call from owner on arrival was very much appreciated. Lodge was clean, very comfortable and spacious couldn't have asked for any more.

Great accommodation with fantastic views over the river and an easy walk into Aviemore. We were able to cook well using the facilities. The decking area around the lodge is massive, so when the weather lends itself to it, there are plenty of places to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. However, there is lots of space indoors to eat and chill out in.

Lovely and well appointed lodge. Scott was a very helpful host and eager to make sure everything was OK. The location is spot on and a short walk to the southern end of Aviemore. Lovely views over the river with a nice outdoor terrace. Beds very comfortable. We'd definitely return.

Leaving to go home

Loved our stay, lodge probably is on the best plot on the site overlooking the River Spey with a peaceful, private decking area to enjoy. Accommodation has everything you would expect plus more, wifi surprisingly decent, very comfortable and cosy. Hosts contact you on arrival to make sure we were happy with everything which was a lovely touch.

I was staying with my adult son and was relegated to the children's room for the duration of our stay and it is a little on the small side however this was expected. The bathrooms are also on the small side and the position of the towel rail meant it was tricky not to burn your knees when using the toilet as the rail got very hot and there didn't appear to be any way to turn the temperature down without turning the heating off in the whole lodge. Neither of these things impacted on our enjoyment of the stay.

The location: close proximity to the train station, local shops, transport links. The lodge itself is in a beautiful location overlooking the River Spey, surrounded by mountains and an abundance of wildlife. The facilities in the lodge were great, a real home from home feel, spacious sitting room and master bedroom with ensuite toilet. It was immaculately clean and things like binbags, food bags, tinfoil, washing up liquid were all provided alongside tea, coffee, sugar and all the condiments you might need. It saved a lot of money and other lodges I've stayed in haven't provided these things so it was great!
