The bunk bed was quite noisy, and I was disturbed by traffic noise from the road early in the morning.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around and short walk to the beach. The hotel itself is clean. Overall, a good experience.

The hotel appears to lack personnel. Someone needs to be at the reception desk at all times to provide customer service in a timely manner. Waiting outside the front entrance for 10+ minutes after having rung the doorbell several times is not an acceptable customer service level. The linen inside the room were clean, however they seem to need replacement as they look overused. I would also recommend a need for refurbishment/painting in every room front door.

The location of the hotel is ideal because it is 5min walk from Bournemouth pier. The hotel offered only continental breakfast. No option for english breakfast. It would be preferable for the serving time to start a bit earlier than 09:00am which is rather late.

only little thing that was annoying was the toilet seat, couldn't open properly and literally fell onto our backs when you sit on it. Also, I found a few little things missed by housekeeping from previous guests, not an issue for me, though. Also noticed stains on bedding, but it was still clean, just stains that don't come off.

Great affordable place, really nice family run hotel. Lovely staff, very helpful too. Great location just 5 min walk to the beach and about 10mins to town centre. Room was good and big enough for 4 people. Definitely recommend for a cheap stay. Breakfast was included in a really cheap price. Wasn't a full English or anything but had bread, jam, butter, cheese, ham, croissants, pain au chocolate, yoghurts, berries, cereals, juice, water, tea&coffee and it was enough for a quick breakfast. Cannot fault it.

The stay had few issues that made it less enjoyable than expected. We were blocked in by another car on the first day so (no chance of using the car) and it wasn’t even parked in a proper space. The beds were squeaky, and the toilet seat was broken and unstable (only attached on one side), which caused the heavy lid to fall and hit my son’s back while he was using it. The shower was constantly dripping, and the soap shelf inside was broken. The TV was dusty, the place wasn’t very clean when we arrived, and only one out of four beds had been made. We were also surprised to find out the jacuzzi wasn’t included — it required 7 days’ notice and an extra £180 for just 3 hours, which wasn’t clearly stated in the listing. To be fair, for the price we paid we didn’t expect luxury, but better maintenance and a bit more attention to the basics would’ve made a big difference

Great location, staff very helpful and friendly.

The beds are with metal frames, so any movement ends being a squeaky movement. Stayed only one night, was relieved to do so. Took 25-30 minutes to get access to the hotel. Despite giving an estimated time of arrival 3-4pm, and being on time, no one was on reception. Rang the telephone number on several occasions, no answer. Ended shouting through a laundry room window. Finally, the landlord emerged. He confessed to my travel companion that he was having a nap. Turns out we were only guests in between the hotel being fully booked before us and directly after for a school visit. Felt as though we were an inconvenience if I'm honest.

Only a five minute walk to the beach. All downhill, but, of course, all uphill when coming back.

First of all I would suggest you DO NOT let the picture of the hot tub in the details in any way affect your decision to stay at this hotel. When we got there there was a list of instructions and facilities available at the hotel - the Hot Tub will cost £180-00 for 3 hours (yes £180-00!!!) and if you're staying for a week tough because you have to give 7 days notice - a day at the nearby Bournemouth Westcliff Spa costs £59 a day and that's for two!!! Also in the instructions it informed us that the hot water was only on from 0630 to 0930 and I think a few hours in the evening - to be fair that didn't really affect us and as this is a two star "budget hotel" understandable. We had the "family room" (because it was the cheapest at the location) on the second floor which has one double bed (quite small double bed) and two Bunk Beds - for us it was fine as there was only two of us but for a family of four staying for a week I think it may be a little crowding. In the room there was one bedside light (no bedside set of drawers - because there was no room for them) which didn't work. On arrival the kettle didn't fit the base it was on but to be fair the staff did replace it with one that worked reasonably quickly. No remote control for the tele (very small tele which for us didn't matter but for a family of four it may) - informed them of this shortly after arrival but remote never arrived - again for us not a problem as we didn't go away to watch the TV. Room looked like it had been recently decorated but was still a little dated. The details said wardrobe / closet - it was a metal contraption with hangers - again for us staying for two days absolutely fine.

The location of this hotel was excellent - we were primarily in Bournemouth to go to a gig at the BIC and this hotel was ideally placed, just a 5 minute walk to the venue and just a very short walk on to the beach and town. The staff at breakfast were excellent, very friendly and accomodating and the breakfast room was very nice with a covered terrace available if you wanted. The shower in the room was really very good and unusually being 6 feet 4 I could actually fairly comfortably get under the shower (although being in the attic it was a little cramped to the side but to be fair it was a double shower so plenty of room). The lounge looked very cosy and comfortable but we were only there for 2 nights so didn't use it. The hotel was clean. The breakfast is continental and we got ours included as a Genius member but if it is not included it is £10 - the breakfast whilst basic was pretty good but I wouldn't pay £10 for it

No staff on duty when we arrived - premises locked & no one answered the bell to ring for attention. Found an envelope in a cupboard in the entrance porch & let ourselves in. No one on the reception whenever we came or went from the premises. Room cold during the evening and radiator did not appear to work.

Continental breakfast, en suite room, clean & quiet. Close walking distance to town centre & beaches.

Hotel was outdated and could do with being brought up to date. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were hard. Didn't understand why they charge £5 to park when we were the only car there 🤔.

The property was very cold, heating and hot water was only available at certain hours, the hotel had supplied a plug in heater for the room which helped to take the chill off the room, but it was still cold in the room. When we arrived at the property we could not get it as no one was available on reception to open the door, we ended up waiting 45 minutes to get into the property. There was a previous guests stocking in a bedside draw and some rubbish under the bed.

The property looked nice, good parking and good location

The room number 9 where I stayed have no central heating, though the owner provided a portable heater. The hot water was on timer. On the first day Tuesday 4th March, when I arrived I had to wait atleast 8 minutes for the owner at the front door I rang the bell, but there was no answer lastly I had to call him to let me in. After I got my room key. He told me the hot water is on the timer. On Wednesday I had a nice warm shower at 7 pm went down for my breakfast and the dinner hall was absolutely freezing I told him but he didn't do anything but one of the guests got me a room heater. Thanks to him. On Thursday I went to the dinner hall and managed to sit next to the radiator, which was on, but apart from the little area, the whole room was cold. After I had breakfast, I went to take shower surprisingly no hot water. So, no shower for me ! I told him after his replied that the hot water is on the timer. Yesterday evening went out for dinner I could open the front door to way out I rang him but there was no reply. When I came back I noticed inside the front door light was on, as I entered the building saw a HOMELESS MAN lying down on the steps he had two bottles of drink I was scared I had my purse money and bank cards with me. I could have been mugged. I was very scared. Somehow I went to the reception using my key as usual there was no one. I called him from my room no respond, text him about the situation no respond. After 45 minutes I went down and saw he was not there. This is a serious security issue. Today again I wanted to take shower but at 8 am no hot water!!!!!! So two days I couldn't take showers. Saw him in the kitchen but he was busy, I was going to tell him about last night and hot water. There should always be someone at the reception or the guests could atleast communicate for any issues. I booked from you many stays but never feel threaded or lack of communication. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed about this bookings.
