The rooms was very small and no space to open the luggages

A few mins walking to Royal Mile and 10-15 mins to all other tourist destinations like Edinburg castle,Victoria street etc Airport bus stop was across the street The staff was very friendly and helpfull to give suggestions about the city and any thing you need Our room was in the the other part of the building so there was some distance to walk to reach to the room Room was small but clean and bed was comfy.

No laundry room 🙁, I was lacking storage space in my room, I would add more shelves for clothes.I had to put it my stuff on the table , chair and so on

We stayed 5 nights. Limited hanging space and storage. Had to live out of suitcase (yes, first world problem). Interior of building had been completely renovated. Somehow in all that planning and expertise they managed to build in squeaky floors. Continuous noise from guests in room above… squeak squeak squeak!

Location, location, location. Walk straight out onto cockburn st. 100m from royal mile, short walk to castle, across the road from park, tram rail. More cafes and restaurants than could be visited in a year.

Booked through Booking.com so the hotel gave us a windowless room. Didn’t think to ask for an upgrade on arrival but the price was decent.

Don’t pay for the breakfast! There is no hot food, just pastries and cereals not worth the price. Room was a little walk away

I didn’t particularly like the minimalistic furniture as in there isn’t even a proper closet to store clothes just 2 shelves which are quite at a high level ( for someone who is not exceptionally tall) .

Nothing, everything was great.

After a trans Atlantic flight to Edinburgh, we took the Airlink bus located right outside the airport exit. For only £6 per person it took 30 minutes to arrive at the last stop, which was a 3 minute walk to Motel One. We had a lovely room. Spotlessly clean with a huge shower with wonderful water pressure. Excellent location with many shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The Waverley train station was only half a block on the same street.

There are two entrances to this hotel. Hotel should make sign for those who are checking in to go to one specific entrance. Since the other entrance is located right in the middle of breakfast/dining area and it is heavily trafficked with people moving about with luggage.

It is near the transportation hub, train, bus to airport, tram. And it is right on the major street and near the royal mile.

The location is perfect and close to lots of sights, bars, restaurants, the castle and dungeons, also right next to the bus stop that takes you to the airport, friendly staff, nice clean rooms with lots of facilities, great bar area to chill and to have drinks

This is small, but it's the only negative that i could think of. You had to get ice from the bar, by the glass, which didn't fill our water containers.

The location was great for us since we were going on a cruise and the hotel was near the cruise terminal. The staff was very nice.

Absolutely wonderful location. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was top notch, and mostly, the staff was kind and helpful. It's a no brainer - choose Motel One!

The bed was a little uncomfortable for me(hard). That may not be an issue for anyone else.

Great location. Easy to get to. Parking was not too far from the hotel and you get a discount through the hotel.
