I felt the hosts had thought of all the items that guests would require for a comfortable stay.

Nothing except the pillows which one of the set of two could be less round. Although it is located in a full rural area, it is close to the City center by car.

Access well signed from the main road. The kindness of the hosts, the diversity and quantity of the welcome amenities in the room, the fresh food and well prepared breakfast, the advices for restaurants and for touring around the old town. The wifi was working perfectly. The decoration of the room seems a little bit busy at first sight although giving a real sense of warmfulness. My wife liked the cosy style of the whole house and especially the birds paintings from a local artist. The goods in the Boutique are worth a special attention.

The attention to detail and care that has very obviously gone into the presentation of every aspect of this place is what sets it apart. We had been travelling for several weeks, and on arrival here it was evident that the hosts have considered even the smallest detail, in both the rooms and the common areas. Very, very comfortable and user-friendly, in fact the best in that regard on our travels.

This is a truly exceptional B&B - all sorts of thoughtful little extras in the room, extremely comfortable, very attentive and helpful hosts, great breakfast, peaceful rural location. We loved it and will definitely be trying to find a way to return - and try the chocolate making workshops next time.

We loved everything about it. From the position in the middle of fields to the sea view. The fact that there was something of interest to take your eye in every corner of the house. The hosts were both so friendly and chatty.

Mike and Sam are the perfect hosts - Friendly and knowledgeable. The room we had was tastefully decorated and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The house is located on a farm overlooking St Andrews which is a good 20 minute walk away.

Honestly I have no comments as all was very well.

Very welcoming and friendly. It was like home away from home and you can't get more luxurious than that. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choices. Absolutely very clean and most importantly the bed and pillows were the most comfortable ever. No smell of the duvet as in some hotels have an odour smell. I would definitely come again.

Amazing B&B with super friendly hosts!! We added a night here at the last minute and I’m so glad we did. It’s located a bit outside of St Andrews in a very quiet and rural area. We did the chocolate making class with Mike and loved it!! All of our chocolates were delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here and wish we could have stayed one more day.

what a find. I had forgot to book a hotel for the night and we happened upon Scooniehill farm house. The attention to detail was amazing and in a quiet location. We were even offered a lift into town and a taxi home was very easy. Delicious breakfast, charming hosts and delightful. Well done!!!

It was so welcoming & warm, like the owners, very kind & helpful, attentive, they read every desire from our lips, we felt like in a 5 star hotel. You could see that Mike & Sam put a lot of attention to detail everywhere, rooms, garden the entire house. The breakfast was absolute delicious, we could not have asked for more, all was there, so nicely presented. We instantly felt home & we shall go back. It was perfect. The effort both are putting in is a typical example of going this extra mile for every guest who is coming. Hats up & continue the good work.

Lovely room house in general. Clean and comfortable. Hosts could not have been nicer!!! Plenty of chat and so welcoming. Gave us a lift at night into pub and offered to pick anything up from local shops. Chatted at breakfast (food was great) and allowed us to check out at own pace as no one coming into room next day. Would definitely book again.
