    The location was exceptional.

The staff were absent. We checked in with one surly young woman and then after that there was no one around. We had a couple of problems with the room, tv didn't work, bath mixer tap didn't work skin stripping hot or freezing, no inbetween and no one to report to. No wifi. The pub had wifi but it didn't work in our room. The breakfast was terrible and we were the 2nd couple into breakfast and they ran out of orange juice and musli. The cooked breakfast was minimal and the microwave scramble eggs would have bounced if thrown.

Wonderful view from our room (Mull). Big clean room. Good bathroom. Great porridge. Easy free parking outside. Lots of eating options in Tobermory.

Not all items listed were actually provided e.g. biscuits in room, yogurt at breakfast.

Love this place - perfect location & excellent staff

Mentioned to the manager that the bed has a metal rail at the bottom of the bedstead - I kept bumping my feet of it & waking up

The location was fabulous as was the view. We really enjoyed the spa bath in the room too and the room did look really nice when we entered.

On arrival the staff weren’t very friendly, they asked our name on arrival, no friendly greeting, no smiling, just took our name looked at the computer and said your up at the top of the stairs and handed us a key! When my husband went to go to bed the bed was under a sloping roof. My husband is 6ft and banged his head several times on the ceiling trying to get in and out of bed! Which wasn’t very good for a premium priced room. Breakfast started at 8am and we were down stairs for 8:05, there was a jug of apple juice on the bar, I asked for some orange juice and the waiter told me it had just run out and they didn’t have anymore. The radio was also blasting in the background and when I asked if it could be turned down, the waiter pretended to turn the dial down and I had to ask again as it was so loud I couldn’t hear my husband taking and he was sitting opposite me!

Well located to take the ferry, clean and comfortable.

No full time reception staff, if you have questions you first have to find someone. We were leaving early and they do organize to go bags but when we left nothing was in the cooler at the reception, two other rooms had left before us, the system can be improved especially since most of the go bag is ready (muffin, fruit, crisps, water)

Shower was broken. Had to ask twice to fix it. Lasted one day then broke again.

Mishnish room, all the rooms have names, our quirky room contained a double spa bath. Which was great after all the walking. The hotel is the yellow one in the photos. Great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Sea views from the room are awesome. Well done.x

Nothing, our room was on the third floor, so some stairs for us. :-)

    Good location on the harbour.

Room was cute up in the roof but very small and restricted headroom. Shower in shared bathroom a bit tricky to operate. Breakfast was a bit haphazard; stuff ran out.

Ideal location, comfortable bed, great views, excellent breakfast.

Not keen on shared bathroom, but appreciate this is due to the age of the building.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms, along the main harbor front in Tobermory. I thought that there might be noise coming up from the pub on the ground floor but it was quiet in our room, at least.

Breakfast was fine but nothing special.

Very comfortable, if a bit floral, room with a great harbour view and location. Easy check in/out and friendly staff on hand if required. Parking is along the harbour and pretty busy during the day, quiter and easier to get a space later in the day. Excellent Italian dining room in but run seperately from the hotel, bookings a must, offering a 5 or 7 course taster menu. Great chef and hostess who were very knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to share information with patrons about both the food and wines. Had a fab evening here celebrating a birthday. Breakfast in the main hotel dining room was fine. Also had dinner in here one night, which was good but again booking advised as they just managed to fit us in on the night we arrived.

The room was very well furnished, just not my taste, and I would have preferred a walk-in shower instead of the bath with shower attachment.

Really great evening meal in the restaurant.

Very poor breakfast, tiny bedroom, tinier bathroom. Shower either scolding hot, which was dangerous, or freezing.
