Some parts of hotel were a little tired. The hair dryer in the room was very old, and the mini fridge didn't seem that cold.

Great location with free car parking. We loved how lovely and warm the pool was. The staff were really warm, kind and helpful. The beds were really comfortable even my son’s sofa bed. Most hotels have really soft flimsy mattresses for the sofa bed but the one we had was was good quality, nice and firm so no sore back in the morning which was a bonus!

- It is not near to the city center (walking), you need to move by car. - They dont provide smart tv, which is not a big deal but could a be plus. Apart from this we had a great experience!

The stay went smoothly and the staff at reception were helpful and pleasant, just a shame the cleaning maid knocked on the bedroom door / came into room at 8.25am ! It was a bank holiday Monday ! Check out isn’t till 11am and after taking the kids to Reading Festival and not getting back to hotel till early hours of the morning, it was awful getting woken up ‘ by the maid ‘ at such a ridiculous hour, unfortunately then I couldn’t get back to sleep

It’s a huge place, so felt a little empty and hollow on our stay.

It's a long way from the town centre, so without a car it will require a taxi. An onsite small convenience store with fruit or snacks would be nice.

Hotel has great facilities, good gym, nice heated pool, steam room, onsite very good restaurant, and lovely comfortable family room. Breakfast as excellent. Staff are helpful.

The family room was large and comfortable and perfect for our family of five. They made the sofa bed up for us when I asked and let me know. It was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

The lady at reception was helpful and really assisted us with our needs, but didn’t appear as if she was doing it willingly! Even when we were super friendly and appreciative of her help she didn’t crack a smile. The other hotel and spa staff were all very friendly though.

We stopped off for the night on our drive back to London from Cornwall. The kids absolutely loved the room and were appreciative of the welcome pieces of chocolate! The room was excellent value for money, super spacious and very clean. Great leisure facilities also. I enjoyed an early morning swim and steam before breakfast.

The only little thing was how loud the room doors were every time they were shut. Could hear everyone coming and going next to us and above and below us although it wasn't busy when we stayed so this wasn't too bad.

A very lovely welcome upon check-in. Parking was very easy. The room was very spacious for a family of four. Really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and a good selection. The pool was the perfect temperature and facilities all very clean.

Very well run hotel with clean rooms, excellent breakfast and great customer service. Plenty car parking spaces nearby and next you the Reading football club/stadium. Definitely recommend to all.

It’s a bit far from town but a short and not too expensive taxi ride.

The hotel was gorgeous, felt very high class, and was lovely and clean.
