The apartment was comfortable, spacious and had everything you needed for a self catering holiday. Angus met us at the apartment to give us the keys and to explain how everything worked. He showed us around the apartment and gave us suggestions and recommendations of places to visit and restaurants. The information folder in the department also gave lots of recommendations. Claire kept us informed regarding arrival and departing instructions and everything went to plan with no problems.

We were met by Angus who explained all about the apartment and amenities and what the location had to offer. The location was superb overlooking the bay .Five minutes walk over the footbridge onto bridge Street to the main restaurants and bars. Ten minutes walk from Spittal beach and a few minutes drive to Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle. Fantastic .

The bed was a bit soft for our preference and parking on the slope made my husband anxious.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Everything you might need is provided. The location is great. Just a short walk into the centre. The hosts were very welcoming. They were there on arrival and made sure everything about the apartment and facilities was explained.

Beautiful well equipped spotless appartment. Just a short walk to restaurants, shops and bars. Lovely scenic view from window. Very quiet area and beautiful walks around. Claire the owner, a lovely lady met us on arrival and was so informative and helpful. Will definitely be returning!

Claire's warm welcome was outstanding and the apartment matched her enthusiasm. The property was conveniently situated and had a very secure, comfortable feeling about it. The view over the river was brilliant, especially during the storm we had!

Fantastic views, close to local supermarket 5 mins walk for odds and ends. Very spacious and clean and tidy accommodation. Owner was super helpful. When we arrived the gates were open so we missed the signage which is posted on the metal gates. We ended up at the rear of the property which only has pedestrian access and the owner then ran around to locate us and navigate us to the front entrance. There was a mix up when we came to leave as the owner was parked on the road at the agreed time, rather than bringing her vehicle into the allocated parking which we were already occupying, so just be aware of that, as we both ended up waiting for one another, as we were out of sight of each other.

Great communication with our hosts and on arrival were given a warm, friendly welcome. Good, clear information was left about the apartment and the local area. An exceptional apartment,so spacious, comfortable and peaceful where everything is of high quality. Loved the views of the River Tweed and the town. A 10/15 minute walk takes you to a fabulous beach/ promenade (Spittal Beach) It is an easy short, flat walk across a nearby bridge to the centre of Berwick where we enjoyed all that Berwick has to offer-scenic walks along the walls, boat trips, a lovely choice of cafes and restaurants, some great.pubs and a wide selection of shops.

Lovely comfortable feel to the place, beautiful finishings throughout. Nice bowl of fruit on arrival and tea/coffee which is much appreciated! Claire and Angus were lovely and helpful and friendly. Even bumped into them in the town and had a nice drink with them!
