How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Apartment was no equipped with air condidioning (as clearly described). The fan provided, may be not enough on very hot days.
Apartment is very confortable, and new. Very spacious and quiet. Kitchen is equipped with MicroWave Oven, Fridge, etc... In front of the entrance there is a Sainsbury Market useful to easily buy all needed for a confortable breakfast in the apartment. We found - very appreciated for us as Italians - an espresso machine with some free coffee capsules. Our double bed was very confortable, and also the single sofa bed. Bathroom was clean and very functional. Very appreciated is the Apartment cleanliness. Position is quite far from the center of london, nonetheless is very well served by bus lines and tube .

Nothing really negative. Some details on waste disposal, how to lock/unlock door apartment should be furnished during check-in.
Very nice, clean and spacious apartment. The Limehouse district revealed pictoresque corners close to Thaeme. Easy connections with centre by bus and DLR.

Well, it's not a fancy shiny hotel. However, the price is one of the lowest: with this pretty old building it's still a great deal to stay in London.
Initially we had some concerns that we'll face cleanliness issues, however, the room was really clean. Fully equipped kitchen helps to prepare some food. Even there is no breakfast, there is a little coffee shop that serves a great food basically in the same building. And just few minutes walk from metro station: no issues to get to the city center.

The room was very clean and comfortable.. Its location is excellent, right next to public transportation. The staff was polite and helpful, and the overall facilities were very good.

I would install AC in the reception, cause its so so hot in summertime. I feel sorry for the staff.
We just got back home! But in London we our apartment with big equipped kitchen and comfortable beds let us feel like at home too. Everything was very good. The location - very comfortable to reach every touristic point.

We have absolutely no complaints.
The apartment had plenty of room for 2 adults in a separate bedroom and a 14yo and 11yo boy who shared the sofa bed. We were all very happy and comfortable. The kitchen was big with everything we needed, including a washer/dryer. It was exceptionally clean. The location was great. There was a Sainsbury's Local across the road, and Great Pizza takeaway. We had our own food for breakfast and sometimes ate in the City before coming home. There was a fast DLR direct to Bank underground, and an express tube to Waterloo. The Manager and staff were all lovely and ensured we had everything and were happy. It was only a bus ride to the 02 Entertainment dome, which has loads of things to do and plenty of shops.

Not much around when it comes down to shops, bars or restaurants.
Conveniently located, close to the DLR, Surprisingly spacious, good enough for 3/4 people, Comfy beds, full kitchen if you need it, we had a 1st floor apartment facing the inner courtyard, so it was quiet and, despite no A/C it was reasonably cool considering the heatwave.

Heavy traffic (cars and people) outside ground floor flats facing the street. It would be great with hooks for jackets and towels. No AC, flat can get hot in the summer. The fan helped though
5 minutes from the DLR and several buses right outside that take you to Tower Hill, Liverpool Street and central London. All the amenities you need for a short stay. Clean and tidy Helpful and efficient staff

Not the fault of the apartments but we stayed during a heat wave. There was a fan but because it was a ground floor flat we couldn’t open the windows much so it was somewhat warm!
Nice clean and comfortable apartment. Close to bus and train transfer into central London. Good shops near by.
