We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe 10am weekly checkout could have been better explained. I had just returned from America and was jet lagged to have someone banging on foor at 10.03 that ot was check out time even low when I had checkout out previous on tye Saturday it was 11am. For the sake of giving cleaners another hour on top of the 5 they already have. Would it not be more suitable to make it 12am checkout the same as 97 percent of most other hotels.

United Kingdom£8 one way to the airport on the hotel shuttle bus. Leisure facilities not included. Aircon not included. The sachets of coffee provided in the room probably aren't even technically definable as real coffee. 2 of the receptionists were very hard to understand and wouldn't speak any more clearly when customers were obviously struggling to communicate with them. They were unhelpful, and gave an air of being better than others.
The rooms were clean - what you would expect from a good hotel. Competitive price if you choose the cheapest room option.

United KingdomThe hotel needs a deep clean. Beyond the immediate areas used there are cobwebs and dirt built up over time. The restaurant was closed and the bar offered sub-par food. The check-in employee was perfunctory, and not friendly. When I asked if the two rooms we'd booked could be adjacent, he said it wasn't possible. Ended up with rooms down completely different corridors, both at the far end. The man on the following day seemed much friendlier, smiling and greeting me.
Very close to the airport, the lovely village of Styal, and Wilmslow. The bedding, linen and bathroom was spotless.
