The property is spacious - nice bedrooms, lovely kitchen, amazing dining room, beautiful garden at the front, allocated parking space, clean bathroom/ toilet with brilliant showers facilities. The property is in a quiet & relaxing rural location, right at the border of Wales.There is a big Lidl, roughly 2 miles. We have been at this property in 2021 and now in 2025. We thought it got better as it has been renewed and well maintained. Great to explore North Snowdonia in our case. I would like to stay there again as it a brilliant 10/10 place for a comfortable family stay, in our opinion. The owners are very helpful people.

The property was a good size with exceptional outdoor space. It is a good base to explore the local area with two pubs in reasonable walking distance.The host called in on our first day to check everything was IK but wasn’t intrusive.

Sofas n chairs need replacing as well worn n you can feel the bar in them and reclining don’t work. Garden areas need weeding and cleaning properly as looks like has been left for longer than it should

Only a few small issues that didn't affect our stay negatively at all, but can definitely improve the experience. Although the kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed for cooking, the serrated bread knives provided were not suitable for general chopping. Also some deeper bowls (cereal or salad) would be useful. Soup plates were just a bit shallow for that. Also it would be great to have a mirror in both bedrooms, as we only had a mirror in the hallway to get ready. Front door glass needs some privacy screen as it is close to the bathroom and faces the outside BBQ area.

Excellent location, very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful communal garden by the side of the river. The property although being rural, with some one track roads to reach it, is still only a mile away from Oswestry and all main roads for exploring the region. Short countryside walk to the parts of Montgomery canal. Very spacious property, perfect for 4 people. The aircon in the living room was so much needed during a hot spell. Appreciate the thought put into how the property is used with nightlights, and light switches at convenient places. The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of storage solutions in the bedrooms.

We had all the information to collect the keys and the main door had clear directions on how to use the key box. Though nothnig was working and we thought there was an issue, the host was kindly there to help, we must have missed an email advising us the door would be open and key available as per the arrival time we had confirmed. Super swiftly sorted. The photo do not do justice on how pretty & big the place is, there are perfect amenities for a longer stay if we wanted and the surrounding area is incredibly beautiful. Definitely booking again soon

Nothing really, the house was a bit cold for my elderly parents.

We loved the remote location amidst farms, which ensured that we had a peaceful and quiet family time. The hosts were great and the house was neat and tidy. House had all amenities to make it comfortable (dish washer, washing machine, cutlery, fridge, cot, parking etc.). Nearest town and shops are about 10 mins away. Loved the fact that a small river flower nearby and the host had setup a lovely outdoor seating next to it, with BBQ facility. My son loved to visit the nearby farms and see the animals. Note that the access is through country roads so make sure the weather is on your side.

Personally found the living room seating bit uncomfortable and some cushions for back support would have made a difference, but that would not stop me from returning.

The property was light, spacious and well equipped. We found the owners very pleasant and helpful. It was set in a lovely garden with the river Morda running alongside and was a relaxing and peaceful place to sit.

It was as expected. However, as property is a little remote, it would have been a kind gesture if tea/coffee and a pint of milk were provided, especially if you have travelled far as there is no local shop.

Accommodation was as I expected for the price. Quality and attention to detail. Friendly and professional hosts. Lovely surroundings.
