We stayed here for a night on our way to Isle of Mull. Very quick detour off the M6 so very convenient. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, had an en suite bathroom, and was perfect for our needs.

The windows seemed to either be mouldy or because they are old the wood was rotting. Got woke up very early (around 6 or 7am) by either the owner or other guests being really loud, slamming doors and shouting.

Bed was super comfortable and clean. The owner was very friendly and made it easy for us to check in later than expected.

The room I was in was next to the main road so although the windows are double glazed you can still get a bit of traffic noise. It didn't bother me but it might affect a light sleeper.

Rooms were clean with tea/coffee/water. TV and plenty storage space. Bed was comfy with enough pillows. Bathroom had a walk in shower, plenty towels with shower gel and handwash available.

Everything was GOOD

A nice friendly helpful welcome . I arrived a little later than planned and missed finding somewhere to eat , they helped me with a take way place which delivered to the hotel . Even though I had a small ish room not that it was a issue because I was there on my own .The bed was comfortable and the shower good .The room and hotel was very clean . Will stay there again if im working in this area.

Arrived on an exceptionally hot evening after a very long hot drive (no air-conditioning in vehicle). Owner very welcoming and brought us out 2 large glasses of apple juice with ice cubes - Amazing . We didn't stop for breakfast but again owner gave us 2 bottles of water for our journey. We would stay again.

The location on the A7 not far from M6. The a friendliness of the host. With a bar. Television at reception.

There were parts that needed a bit of a spruce up in terms of cleanliness but this certainly didn't detract from our enjoyment

The bed was extremely comfortable. We slept so well! Our host was very pleasant and friendly. We had everything we could possibly need. Good availability of food for breakfast despite one of us being gluten intolerant. it was lovely and warm too.

Came in room while we were out, took pizza that we had saved. This was well meaning though as they had left more toilet roll etc.

Breakfast had more than enough on offer. The room was spacious, a bargain at 70 per night and dog was allowed. Bed was comfy enough. I loved that we were given a card with all details including the WiFi password.

Room and public areas, minor maintenance needed. Room 3 rub down, repair & paint window frames (better still, replace in same shape with sealed unit white UPVCs), sort out old seal bottom of shower door, untidy / murky floor & wall grouts. Repaint room in same (excellent) colours, more tidily. Perhaps replace plastic bathroom and uneven but pretty blue curtains with matching blue cloth curtains (accept will have to wash/dry bathroom curtains more often), fit same fabric to stool (currently clashing red/white cloth). Group the 3 flower pictures into 1 vertical row. Dining room - replace plasticy chairs with woodens. Replace self-serve array with simpler table. Add a table top glass door fridge for self serve yoghurts and daily milk jug. Replace open cereals with single packs. Supply jam etc with the toast to order, in a bowl, one way trip. (Supply jars kept in back, in fridge, labelled with date of opening). Room 3 directly on a busy main road, so somewhat noisy on a Friday evening which can't be completely resolved despite double glazing .

Room pleasing white & blue decor, contained everything needful - reasonable bed with good mattress, bedside lamps, tray of tea & coffee on dresser with stool, long mirror, good size TV, built-in cupboard, openable secondary glazed window), good en suite. Whilst not blingy-lavish, everything WORKED - clean white comfortable bedding, plentiful hot water, spacious shower that was readily operable without a PhD, good water pressure, plentiful hot water, didn't leak onto floor. Toilet clean, and flushed without hesitation, several tubes of pleasant shower gel....you get the picture which is a rational one
