There wasn't anything not to like, exceeded all expectations.

There were so many more things about the facility that we didn't expect to have, all the heating options, the heated towel rail, coffee machine, iron, wireless phone chargers built into the bed side tables and many more. For what we thought would be a simple pod was actually very well equipped, far beyond what we would have thought.

No outside furniture. The doors tend to slam/are loud. Fridge not switched on for arrival (took a while to get to temperature)

The lodges are modern and immaculately clean. Well equipped and well laid out. The location was great in proximity to the park & ride.

No buses to location. Taxis difficult as busy day in Edinburgh but we coped. One small complaint only - about the soap and shampoo dispensers in the pods. They have been put in the wrong place, very difficult to use.

I was not expecting to not bring the car upto the lodge, it was annoying after a night out and walking back up the pebbly hill in the dark, the path could be lit a bit. Washing up liquid would of been useful no shop on site Take what you need then you can get it brought up in buggy on arrival

Could do with some garden furniture on the decking surrounding the lodge.

Excellent accommodation, it was just quite a walk from the car park to get up the hill. The staff did however help take us up on check in and check out day on a buggy with all of our luggage which really helped.

Whats not to like?

Very cool place. The vibes were chill and the staff were very helpful. The pods were unlike anything I had ever stayed in before. Everything was very high tech from the mood light and blinds to ordering dinner at the canteen. A hidden gem in Scotland close to the airport. Wished I could have stayed longer.

I didn't like that we have to park the car and walk for 10 minutes until we reach our house. And the golf car is available only when check in and check out. while other during days our stay no golf car we have to walk and it will hard if we have byu dome items and we have to carry them and walk to our house 😔. I suggest to manage and make good road until house and let cars to pick up the people and items and them go back in parking to park there (it is good of old people and heavy items)

I wasn't keen on the toilet/wet room but otherwise it was perfect for our needs.

Very different, modern, clean and surprisingly spacious. Great for our overnight stay before heading to the airport. We were extremely lucky to visit on a lovely hot day so it was a please to sit outside an watch the surfing most of the afternoon.

Nothing I loved it.

Our pod was amazing, very high tech, the control panel was easy to use. Tea and coffee with a little bottle of milk for our arrival. Bath robes were so comfy and the provided toiletries were gorgeous, so much so I’m ordering them for home. The pod was immaculately clean and the bed very comfortable.

The way up to the chalets and the entrance were not wheelchair accessible. However we were aware of this and the staff assisted us the best way they could.

We enjoyed the views and the serenity of the surroundings. The Chalet was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

The hilltop lodges are perfect for long term stays but not convenient if you are surfing multiple times a day. Laundry facilities for the waterfront lodges could help those staying 1+ weeks.

Amazing surf trip! My two sons Finn & Robin loved the friendly, patient instructors and lifeguards—special thanks to Craig, Neil, Joel, Finn, Kieran, Holly, Sebas and not forgetting all the canteen crew too! The boys improved so much and became even more passionate about surfing. We enjoyed it so much that we changed our summer plans and stayed for 2 extra weeks. We tried both Hilltop and Waterfront lodges, but the “Wave” lodge was perfect for our multiple daily surfs.

There is a walk up to the hillside lodge but the guys at reception will give you a run up in a golf cart.

I was surprised by the resort the surf area, bar and canteen are very cool we had a great evening watching the surfing. All the staff were super friendly and appeared to actually enjoy working there. The hillside Lodge was very smart, very clean with loads of room.
