It seemed like an apartment but it was divided into several rooms only locked with a padlock. It was noisy and seemed a semi dodgy neighborhood but it was clean.

There was no private bathroom but a shared one. The door room was only protected by a padlock which wasn't properly fixed to the wall, so anyone could have forced the door easily. There was a double mattress which made the bed too soft and pretty uncomfortable.

My wife and I stayed here recently. The location is convenient if you have a car, and the free parking is definitely a plus. We paid £20 for an early check-in at 11 a.m. The bathroom had a bathtub, but oddly no shower — which left me wondering why you’d install a tub but skip the shower. 😄 They did provide bath soap, bath balls, and other toiletries, just no actual shower. 😄 The room had a TV, but unfortunately no remote. The bedside lamp was brighter than the main ceiling light, which was an unexpected twist. 😄

The space between bed and wall was so narrow on front and one side I kept knocking stuff off wall and desk. The bathroom down the hall was kind of inconvenient being outside the room but at least there is a shower that is only for use by this particular room. It is a real long distance from the center of edinburgh (over a mile and a 1/2) you'll need a taxi.

The security is good. There is a corner market about 6 blocks but only open til 8pm. No restaurants within a block. A college dorm basically just as advertised.

Had now idea how to get into the property! Several long conversations to booking.com still no simple answer (yes how have a room lovely, but between your company and the owner, who doesn't speak Inglish it has been a very bad experience, never àgain How do I get into the complex and room without any information)staff said we will definitely let you know? It became a bad experience 😔

It can be noisy outside at night. This obviously has nothing to do with the property owner. I’m a single traveler (47 yo female, from the US) and I was not bothered at all with the facilities. The bathtub was quite nice since they aren’t so big in the states. I’m tall and loved having a big bathtub.

This property was clean, the bed was comfortable, and a decent walk to and from the tram. The owner was easy to communicate with and answered my messages through Booking.com almost immediately. I missed my flight out and came a day late and was able to book an extra day with no problem. Uber is very convenient and I felt safe.

Private bothroom - only bath WITHOUT SHOWER TUB (this is something what you usually dont expect, I havent seen a bath without shower for ages), so we had to use shared bathroom with shower. Flat in general clean (including bathroom) but its very visible that the owner doesnt invest in the flat much (old furniture (even small cheap things are old), badly working kettle). For one night before departure ok. Residential area, one room in the flat (its more in AirBnB style, not for booking, we shared the flat with other people (maybe guests, maybe owners) - for cheap AirBnB ok - our room had locker at the door. 800m from tram stop, so ok to get to the airport

The behavior of the staff. While we asked where to take drinking water from or if there was a kitchen or any facility, as it was quite late when we checked it at night, they told us to fill our bottle from the bathroom!!! Being utterly disappointed we had to go out and search if any supermarket was open at that time. Fortunately, Lidl was nearby, and was open until then and we bought water. Moreover, the staff don't understand English properly. There were 2 of them at the property. One of them doesn't know how to speak English nor does she understand.

The room was clean and the location was good as well.

There was no shower in the ensuite and no TV in the room. The security was poor - the door to my room could not be locked from the inside and while I was asleep, another guest opened the door and came in when they mistook my room for theirs. The owner did apologise to me the next day, which was appreciated.

In a block of flats, loads of blocks all around area. Bedroom in house had no proper lock, only a bath in double room, could use shower shared with other guests, only one night stay but won't go back.

The flat block looked like it was in a rough part of town, a bit dirty on the outside. A shower would have been useful in the bathroom. The lock on the bedroom door was very poor quality and was half falling out of the door, only small padlock on this lock which could have easily have been broken into. There were tea bags provided but no coffee, sugar, or milk and although there were a couple of small cups provided, no spoons were supplied. When the owner came in we tried to ask her about milk but she couldn't speak English and asked us to speak the question into her phone which didn't work, luckily the couple next door gave us some milk for our tea in the morning.

Room was clean and a reasonable size and had own toilet and bathroom, bed was comfy.

The key safes were quite difficult to open and the parking was very limited. There was a TV in the room but no remote controls so could not get it to work.

Having our own bathroom in the room was great, considering that my husband has a stoma bag it was good that he had privacy to change it.

The security to the room was absolutely terrible it had a padlock on door and I was able to open the door without unlocking it impossible to leave anything in the room due to possible theft of being unsecured Situated in a block of flat

- Odd curtains - odd pillow cases - no milk for tea/coffee - outside looks very grubby, and worn. - staff knocking door 10 minutes to ensure out but were polite but did then feel rushed. - no lock on bedroom door just a hook for privacy

- Really comfy bed - Well made bed - big bath - would rebook as was so comfy and slept well

Did not get access to property as owner never gave clear instructions on how to pick up keys. I was sent 2 photos of keys/ location of keys but no number which block they were located. No code for key box. Phoned owner 11 times when at location to aks which block flat was but never answered. I also emailed owner but no reply. I contacted booking.com for help but they were not able to resolve this. Basically paid just over £100 for 1 night stay and ended up had to head back home to Glasgow after theatre show in Edingburgh. Poor service from owner. It could have been avoided if owner had replied to my email and calls on the day.

Lot of problems getting the key, code was incorrect and information on how to find it was incomplete. The bed was absolutely horrible and the neighborhood was quite bad
