The hotel is located halfway up the hill, so it can be difficult to reach without a car. That said, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

Everything was very good. The breakfast was excellent, and the view was great.

I loved everything.

This was the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The beds were super comfy, the owners were terribly kind warm and friendly. The food was homemade and delicious and excellent value for money. The desert was just delicious. I am gluten free and it was just a pleasure to eat here, lots of gluten free options in the dinner menu, and breakfast menu, they even had gluten free bread for me and also a box of gluten free bran flakes was bought for me from Tesco! I couldn’t believe how thoughtful they were, I will absolutely be back again! I can’t wait! Everything about this hostel I loved! Oh and the location!!!! I can’t wait to get back! Ps u started a gf Tesco brand lakes addiction for me now 😂😂😂 Hopefully see u again next year Sonni ☺️☺️☺️

The door handle was squeaky in the bedroom. You could hear everyone going in and out even when they were very careful. Needs a bit of grease.

The Lodge is quite remote but the views i managed to see on my way there were amazing. The lodge itself has amazing character, very clean and truely feels welcoming especially after a long hike. The beds were super comfy and the social area is really cool and comfy. Had breakfast and dinner and both were super tasty! Would definately love to come back

Simon and Sonni are great, I chose Dinorwig based on the reviews and I can honestly say it lived up to expectations. I will 100% be back, simply perfect. Make sure you eat here too, excellent breakfast and dinner.

The location is peaceful and quiet because it's a tiny bit out of the way. Couldn't imagine not having a car but the trails and buses are very easy to navigate.

Sonnie and Simon (locals) are fantastic hosts that really care about their establishment and the enjoyment of their guests. Everything you could ever need from breakfast and coffee to hiking suggestions and nice hot showers.

Think this is my favourite hostel. The food was excellent, beds comfortable each with charging points and privacy curtains. The whole place is charming and beautifully decorated. And the location for walking is great.

I loved the location and also everything about it. Though it's a mixed dormitory, as a solo female traveller I felt safe. Bathrooms and Dormitory were clean. Breakfast was very delicious! I would love to come back again with friends. Host/ staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave me directions to reach and also local Taxi numbers to reach their place. Though its bit far from the town, I enjoyed the walk back down to the Llanberis.

Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. The lovely hosts made us coffee when we awoke and breakfast was served quickly. Dinner time was slightly adapted to suit our later arrival. Bedrooms are clean and spacious, curtains got privacy, bathrooms are clean, the large communal area felt safe and was beautifully decorated. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you

Only think I could think off was that there was no hairdryer, but it's a hostal so I'm just nit picking.

Lovely location Staff was amazing, breakfast was included and this was lovely. Shared rooms but it was very quiet when I was staying so was lucky Big communal bathroom and showers, all kept very clean.

Super comfortable in every aspect, spotless everywhere, big lockers, relaxed environment, flawless customer service - always friendly and receptive, 360° mountain views. Ideal base camp for exploring Snowdonia. Great food menu too 👌🏻
