The pods were over priced in my opinion

The pods were very well designed and the view was beautiful

All’s well except perhaps better cooking facilities.

Port Nan Gael Pods are super ably located with stunning views over The Loch, It was our first experience of staying in a Pod , so we were not sure what to expect. All is relatively new and in good condition. There is a good restaurant and pub at the site and a well stocked shop. If I were designing the lay out for the pod , I would specify at least a hob for cooking, the only kitchen facility’s are a microwave, a toaster and a fridge.

The climb up the hill, but that's due to the condition of my lungs and a dodgy knee.

This was a last-minute booking due to a fault with my tent. The facilities were excellent, and the view was brilliant.

This is hard to say, it really was great. Two small things maybe? One would be a little more light on the footpath... I arrived after dark, and everything made sense to collect the keys and get to my pod, but then when I went back to the carpark and walked back, I wasn't 100% sure here to walk. Easily figured out in the morning though. And I would love a latch on the bathroom door. It can slide open if you don't pull it all the way closed. And while it didn't bother me, I think someone might like a way to darken the room. They supply eye masks because the open end is a giant window with wonderful views, but it does mean you're going to get light in when it's light out. I know some folks who would find this an issue, and so some option to black it out might be welcome. Nothing here diminished my experience though, just trying to think of some small things.

My pod experience was amazing. The design of them is really well considered and thought out. And you really can't beat the views out onto the water. The communication was great, and I felt really well considered even though I realize I didn't interact with anyone to check in or out (but did eat at the Inn and used the shop for snacks). It was a really special place even with the rain, a delayed Ferry ride, and coming in the dark. I want to return and stay longer!

Not the fault of the property but road works made navigating the island more challenging that we had expected.

Cute pods, good facilities with shop and pub onsite. Amazing views.

No laundry facilities nearby that we could see? Take care on the narrow roads and use passing bays to give way.

The location is delightful, picturesque and quiet.

Amazing location with seals in the loch and deer on the doorstep! Pod was clean and comfortable. Staff were really helpful and responded straightaway when we had a problem with our door. Safe place for children to play.

Lots of tech- you needed to download a map to figure out which way to drive. Would have been nice to have a picture in the pod, along with how to use the heating/cooling device.

The bunk bed area for the children got very hot

Location was fab, facilities were well thought out and additional services like washing machines and local shop with local delicacies (lamb from farm next door, venison chorizo and Isle of Mull roasted coffee). We loved it.

Can’t think of a single thing

What a great place. Everything yoh need is here! I was able to wash my laundry after traveling for the last 10 days. What a treat! The little store is excellent with most any food you need and the restaurant at the Inn is excellent for dinner.

Size of the bunk beds. Very awkward for the one on top to get in and out of. We traveled with a 13 and 15 year old and both struggled to get in and out of the top bunk (mainly due to their height)

I loved the coziness of the pod and waking up Seeing the sea was lovely

Not much really.... The weather was a bit grim... But hey that's just Scotland in the summer... And it did mean low midge index.... Not much the campsite can do about that

Wonderful location looking out on to the water and mountains.... Really well equipped pod and a good standard of construction... It's a comfort to sit and watch the storms roll in whilst staying warm and dry with a cup of tea in hand. The kids will love the separate bunk space and the pull down bed in the main area is a great utilization of space.. The nearby pub and shop and laundry are a welcome addition to the site... Do book ahead if you plan dinner at the pub.... Food is very good and comforting portions

To be expected, but they are a bit of a squeeze when making food or washing up. Also had to pay extra for the bedding in the bunk bed, which feels slightly unnecessary.

Nice little set up. Pods were clean, comfortable and very weather resistant, especially considering the stormy conditions when we were there. Scenery was also incredible from the pod.

Space a bit tight but to be expected by this kind of property. There were no printed instructions in the pod so had to look it all up on the phone which is fine but would have been easier to have them handy on arrival.

Beautiful view and location, nice and modern pod with good bathroom and shower and overall clean
