It was a nice place, however, It was strange that I was not in the main building, but an annex that seemed that it wasn't even attached to the actual hotel.

The room we had was ok but not great. The ensuit needed a makeover. The toilet leaked water, the skirting boards were dirty. There was a hole in the chair and no bedside table or shelf on the one side of the bed.

The location of the property was great. Far enough away from the crowds of the centre but close enough to walk into town.

Ali the receptionist was very accommodating he couldn't do enough for us a lovely man 😄 the hotel is only 5 mins walk from the train station and 10 min walk into town.

Not enough plug sockets in the room there was 2 in total. Not ideal when we had mobiles to charge and the kettle and the television needed power had to charge mobile in the hall way . Bathroom was on the small side very cramped. Claustrophobic ,step to the bathroom was a bit dangerous to be fair...

Friendly service. The location close to the train station gave us exactly what we needed for a good rest mid-journey and allowed us to still explore the city before traveling on. Cheap price too!

Overall the room was spacious and pleasant. You could hear everything the guests above us were doing. They sounded like they were having a good time, perhaps on their honeymoon??? The bathroom was a small shower whereby the sink was actually in the shower with the toilet by the side. It would be tricky for a larger adult as not much room. It felt almost like an airplane toilet but with a shower to the side. There was no bar area, this is literally a place just to sleep, so in that sense it suits its purpose.

In walking distance of the town centre. Minutes away from the train station. They were also some eateries on your doorstep, but didn't use them. A few grocery stores along the way. Room was spacious

You get what you pay for. Less than £60 in the centre of Chester ideal location . Good for parking

That said, the carpet could really do with a proper clean – there’s a noticeable smell when you walk in. Some marks on the walls could also be wiped down, which wouldn’t take much time but would make a difference. The bathroom is much smaller than it looks in the photos, more like a plastic cubicle, and not the cleanest around the toilet area.

Excellent value for money – the room is affordable without compromising on comfort. The location is also a big plus: just a couple of minutes from the train station and within reasonable walking distance of the city centre. The mattress is very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower is great, and there’s plenty of storage space.

Had to ask about the wi fi password but otherwise no complaints.

Clean comfortable room, ideally located near the railway station and a short walk from the centre. Free luggage storage so we were able to make the most of our last day in Chester.

Our room didn’t seem to have a cold water tap - only hot water, which wasn’t ideal for brushing teeth and taking tablets.

Very friendly host, reasonably central location and a good option for those on a budget.
