The breakfast was excellent. A very relaxed atmosphere. There was a very generous selection of jams to choose from and the bread on offer was freshly cut. The bedroom was very clean and the bed and towels too. A very comfortable sleep.. If was just what we needed at the end of our journey.

Really lovely staff, both the ladies we dealt with were so courteous and friendly. The building is nice, not noisy at all even with it being above a pub. The pub itself is great, as is the food. Breakfast was amazing with cereal, toast and your choice of fry up items - we were really pleased with it, especially considering it's included in the price. Loads of parking at the rear of the property and the rooms are a decent size, very comfy beds.

An absolutely fantastic joint ...full of charachter...and charachters ...owner ..and her staff no doubt carefully selected. Likewise the local produce all over the menu...if you want a break with 5☆ food, quality and service without the stuffiness of a big cold hotel and staff to suit...get your ass here 😉

This is only my personal preference but I think the tv needs rethinking about where it is and also would have preferred just a shower rather than a shower in a bath, but that’s said would definitely stay here again

This hotel/pub is a must for any traveler, it was that good I would of moved in, the owner and staff are absolutely amazing, they couldn't do enough for us, im definitely booking this place again next trip I do, the beds are really comfortable and the duvet are better than the one I got at home, and trust me I like my duvet, Food was amazing but only one dislike im sorry to say, my fried egg wasn't cooked properly too over done and crispy on the edge, but I can forgive them for that lol, but all in all the lady who owns this place deserves a medal, well done that lady

Not a dislike, but the bathroom was very tight so something to be aware of

My mum and I stayed at the Lion and Unicorn for a night and we are so glad we did! While small, the room was adequate for our needs, nice and warm, and was a true pub hotel experience. We had dinner downstairs which was phenomenal, and I can’t praise the staff highly enough for making us feel so welcome. We stayed here instead of Stirling to get more of a country feel, and it was one of the best choices we made on our trip.
