Small room with a small bathroom. Very basic, nothing special

This is not on the hotel, as i understand it's an old building but it was hard to carry heavy suitcases up and down three flights of stairs so a heads up would have been appreciated. The stairs are carpeted and the carpet is old and dirty. The overhead shower wasn't as convenient as detachable ones and for this price there could have been some cookies and better bathroom amenities.

Polite staff and lovely location near Paddington station. Loved the building as it had a classic feel. Bed was comfortable for a night and the hotel was clean.

I have no negative view apart from a slight mix up with my daughter's age on their paperwork which resulted in a one bed room instead of a family one but we still managed adequately well.

The double bed was a bit small - probably about 120cm×190cm? I am 174cm and it was a bit short, my feet were sticking out. It would be great to have air con although the room had a fan. It would be great to have shower caps as the shower was fixed to the top and you'd get your hair wet every time + tricky to clean young kids.

The location was great for sightseeing and walks in Hyde Park. We had a triple room with bathroom, it was clean and we liked the fact that the window was away from the main street. Water pressure in shower was great and the water was nice and hot.

There were a lot of narrow stairs which didn't bother us at all but could others. The room was very small for 3 guests. Other guests were loud late at night although this wasn't the fault of the hotel.

The staff were lovely and a 2 minuet walk from Paddington Station. The room was very clean, the shower was great and we had air-conditioning in room 14. Good price for central London. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a family room which was small but we've stayed in smaller for a lot more money.

To be so near to Hyde Park for the price we paid was exceptional. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower was very good. We were warmly welcomed too.

The only drawback is that there are stairs and no lift, so heavy luggage isn’t recommended. Other than that, everything was great.

We enjoyed our 5-day stay at Linden House Hotel as a family of three. The location was ideal, with Paddington Station, Hyde Park nearby, and a big bus stop right outside for easy travel. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Having shops and restaurants close made everything convenient. It was a great base for exploring London, and we’d gladly stay again.

Didn't bother us too much but if you struggle with stairs our room on top floor would not be for you. One side of Double bed was up against wall, tricky in/ out when 2 people in bed

Apparently, there are two different types of double rooms. We were expecting a room similar to the one shown in the photos, but the room we received was completely different and very small. The shower was inadequate, and the furniture was outdated. Nevertheless, we appreciate that they prepared our room early and stored our luggage free of charge.

The friendly attitude of the staff and the hotel's central location left a positive impression on us.

Had I been told the room was on the fourth floor without a lift I would not have booked. There was no way out had a fire have started. The fire escape by the front door was blocked this morning also. The bed was extremely hard

Staff were very pleasant and helpful, we had everything we needed for our stay. The location was excellent for catching our train the next day and there were plenty of nice pubs in the vicinity for an evening meal. Many thanks!

Air conditioning was just a fan. Struggled in the heatwave. Our room was always hotter than the outside air - it was dreadful.
