Windows don’t open well. Got a bit stuffy in August. Bed was a bit too soft but some people may love that.

Beautiful grounds. Welcoming dog crew. Complimentary whiskey. Quiet location. Close to airport. Spacious rooms. Fridge and microwave.

The lovely Limefield House host was super kind and accomodating. The room was clean, the whole bathroom was newly renovated and very fancy. We felt very safe and the beds were comfortable.

Poor signage from road and confusing signs along drive ( 2 signs both stating private property ) no sign saying reception 🤔this would certainly not stop us from staying again but was certainly confusing as we drove in

The house, just the way its decorated. The furniture, time standing still, plus modern additions. Nice friendly owner. A gentleman . Nice and peaceful. Breakfast was great . Plenty to eat and well cooked.

2nd morning shower ran cold which was an experience but lovely toiletries, slightly earlier check in would be nice but staff were helpful

The staff on arrival made us welcome, the room was immaculate and met our expectations. The bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Recommend a visit.

Not having a vehicle, the distance to the nearest restaurant was a 20-minute walk. Actually, it is very pleasant if it is not raining.

We appreciated the very welcoming reception and the size, cleanliness, and comfort of the room. Also, the full Scottish breakfast was great.

The sign on the drive to the hotel states private, which is a little confusing.

The venue and gardens are beautiful, and the welcome from Gregg was friendly and informative. The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and the Molton brown products were extra special.

A very traditional Manor House experience

Double bed was precisely that - and not as wide as we are used to. Comfortable enough though.

Staff was very welcoming. Sent us directions by text as we journeyed up to ensure that we didn't miss the turn into the property (which is not that easy to spot) - made us a pot of tea on arrival - and had whisky available as a nightcap in the drawing room for free. House itself is large and with eclectic collections of antiques on show. Situated in its own grounds and so a pretty quiet location.

Honestly nothing - I cannot fault this hotel or their staff. Local taxi services had some issue finding the location but when given proper directions, provided by the hotel staff, rather than google maps this was no longer a problem.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful - especially on finding the location and providing numbers for local taxi services. The hotel is situated in a lovely quiet area close to wedding venues and the local train station. The breakfast was amazing and is definitely a must-have when staying there.

Nothing not to like, perhaps a little tricky to find, as entrance from main road isn’t easy to spot.

What a beautiful property ! One of the best places I’ve ever stayed, the staff was out of his way ( Greg) helpful from the minute I made the booking, giving help on how to get there and on arrival the warmest welcome ever. The hospitality was second to none, free drinks on arrival a tour and the most beautiful room ever. Breakfast was actually unbelievable! Fresh hot and so tasty , I cannot recommend this place enough
