Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe acces of neighbours is open and it is hard to relax completely. Neighbours are walking around and can come to you while you are in the tube.
Very clean, cozy and warm. Nice hot tube and the sky view after dark.

United KingdomThe only slight issue was the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable, but a decent thick mattress topper was provided which helped considerably. I also think the sofa bed is better for one person than 2, but absolutely fine otherwise, and sleeping on sofa bed meant waking up to that incredible view!!! Loved it!
Location location location!! Waking up to that view is something special! We loved the pod. The hot tub, fire pit, and BBQ made it extra special. The animals were lovely, and Katherine really helpful. Nothing was too much. I was a bit concerned having read the reviews that it would be too far from ‘civilisation’ but that was not the case at all. Oban is just 15 minutes drive and has everything you could need. The drive up to the pods is just gorgeous too. Just great. We highly recommend!

United KingdomPersonally I’d love curtains or blinds to keep the light out at night. Eye masks were provided but it’s not something I’d use.
Beautiful location, really well thought out. The hot tub was brilliant, everything you could possibly need was included. The views were stunning. There was just a couple of things that would have made it even better, rather than the low table by the door and cabinet by the sofa a small table or breakfast bar you could sit at would be good. Some instructions for the hot tub would have helped a little although we figured it out. But apart from that it was perfect, I’d love to stay again.

United KingdomBooked on the day and unfortunately didn’t receive details of booking until after checking out due to phone service. When we got to location it was poorly signposted, as there was just a sign off the road for Le Rags Farm. Track up to pods was poor so make sure you have a suitable car for this. There are other houses around so we weren’t sure who the pods were owned by, as we tried calling business mobile but message said that it was out of hours, so we asked another couple staying and they said they were told that the keys should be in the pod. The hot tub was switched on but was cold, which didn’t heat up until the morning we were checking out. So did not spend much time in it. There was a light brown creamy sludge in the bubbles, which we were later told that it was due to the peaty water supply. We were also told that that wasn’t our allocated pod as the hot tub had just been refilled hence it being cold to start with. It bleached our swim wear so now needs to be replaced and I felt nauseous after. I’ve since found out that after refilling a tub it needs to be heated up and chemical levels then need to be retested/adjusted. It would have been a good idea to put a sign on top of the hot tub not to be used. The shower controls did not work as shown we had to ignore the dials and turn knobs when the water was at the right temperature. No curtain or blinds in the pod so no privacy in bedroom or patio doors. Had a local man walking about outside the pod, as they had trouble with their water supply. When mentioned to pod owner said that they will get their electrician to look at shower and also said that they have had curtains/blinds delivered but they still need to fit these. Also said that bath robes have just been delivered too. The owner said it’s a new business only opened in the last two weeks. Once everything gets sorted it should be a good place to stay but for us we were very disappointed and feel it wasn’t worth the money we paid.
Well equipped pod with coffee pod machine, fridge and air fryer. The pod was very clean and tidy. Very nicely decorated, as modern and not cluttered. Towel warmer. There was a TV there if we wanted to watch it, but we didn’t need to.

United KingdomThere is a little lack of cooking facilities, we didn't realise how much not having a stove and very limited fridge space would limit what we could cook only using the in fryer or using kettle boiled water. There were no blinds or curtains but hosts did provide eye masks.
Perfect location just 5 minutes outside Oban though feels a lot further from civilisation, east to find with google maps taking us straight there no issues. My boyfriend and I agree that the hot tub, mountain views and lovely sheep were highlights of our trip (oh, and the outdoor fire pit with wood). Although we never got a chance to use it the BBQ was also a nice touch.
