When we arrived after 30 hours of flights and train, we were told we could leave our bags and return at 1 pm as our rooms should be ready for early check-in. When we got there, another member of the staff told us that check-in was at 3 pm and we could get in before then. When the member of staff that we originally saw came back from break, he checked in right away.

Bathroom door didn't close easily and had a fair bit of paint worn off. Bathtub was in need of resurfacing or replacing.

The room was a little musty but expect that from an old building.

The staff were really friendly and made it feel like a home away from home. We enjoyed the breakfast and the comfort of the room.

We had a meal in the restaurant at the hotel and it was disappointing. The food was mediocre, and they didn't have many of the drinks stocked that were on the menu. One of the waiters was quite rude but the other waiter was nice. Next time we will go out for a meal.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is only a short bus ride into the city centre. The staff on reception were nice. There are lots of good pubs and bars a short walk away.

Breakfast seems to be operated on a shoe string, really basic, not good value for money at all.

Conveniently located, fuss-free, rather standard hotel, but with a touch of soul given by its employees. They made us feel welcome - helpful and friendly. The little fairy that refilled coffee capsules for our own Nespresso machine (not the standard one the room is equipped with) just made our day.

We booked a twin room, so it had a double and a single bed made up from the sofa. I comfy chair in the room would have been most welcome. Just a desk chair or beds to sit on in room. The lobby area was busy and it would have been nice to have had an area away from this to sit and chill. After long days walking and doing touristy things, we found the hotel a little out the way. so we often hopped on a bus to rest our legs! There are no views from this hotel. Either main road at the front or car park at rear. The bag drop off was a little chaotic - all dumped in a room behind the lobby. Took us a while to find our luggage. For the price we paid - after the fringe/festival had finished - nothing special.

Location to train station, bus and tram routes/tourist attractions. Town centre is walkable - 20 minutes or so. Places to eat/pubs etc close by but we did not use. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Our twin room was as per pictures. Room was clean and housekeeping were very good. Beds comfy. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. The hotel was quiet even though it was busy.

The choice and quality of food at breakfast was very good. The location worked well for us, being in walking distance of the local buses, but also a pleasant walk into the main attractions in the city. The staff were efficient and helpful. There were several good restaurants close by, as well as a varied menu at the hotel itself.

Disappointed there was a price drop on the type of room I had but it wasn't automatically applied to my reservation.

Location was great, close enough to everything that it didnt take long to get to the action but out of the way enough that it was fairly quiet.

Would have liked more armchairs or relaxing area for evening The orange/ apple juice was very watery Had to go to other section for milk for hot drinks- make more sense to have milk by drinks instead ot trapcing with hot drink while others queuing for food.
