Friendly staff from reception through to bar staff. I had booked 2 rooms, one for myself and 1 for my parents, unfortunately my mum took ill and neither her or my dad utilised their room on the first night. Breakfast staff agreed to keep breakfast open until we came back from hospital, so my parents were able to eat after being in the hospital for all of their first night

other reviews have mentioned car parking charges but for the convenience we were happy enough to pay.

we booked a triple family room which was spacious and clean with all the facilities we needed. very comfortable beds - we didnt pay for breakfast but a nice touch was water in reception where we were able to fill drinks bottles before heading off for the day. The swimming pool was great and towels provided.

I would have liked air conditioning in the room rather than a fan.

Spacious hotel with nice lounge areas to meet with friends. Gym and pool included in price of stay. Plentiful breakfast in the morning. Option of late checkout.

Having to pay for parking Hotel room need an upgrade, especially the bathroom. Bathroom is old with cold lighting.

Rooms too hot. Breakfast sparse, not much room to attain the food choices and eat in a comfortable location instead of the overspill being like a canteen! Paying to park your car overnight with a charge!

I cannot understand why a double bed size duvet is placed on a single bed and wrapped tightly under the mattress such that access has to pull it all out. It was uncomfortably heavy even for me [a 6' solidly built male] with a TOG rating well into double figures. Lying supine one's toes are painfully pressured. Thus a good night's sleep was impaired by this ridiculous, oversize, overweight, overhot, lumpy 'duvet'.

It is a good standard hotel that I would expect at this price and * rating. No particular noteworthy feature.

The restaurant was expensive for what you got and the service from the kitchen was extremely slow especially when there was only 3 other tables.

There was a gluten free toaster but no gluten free slices of bread to put in the toaster, only rolls?? Chair in room was unpleasantly stained

Lack of airconditioning. Still remembered by our kids as hot hotel 😀 otherwise all good. Not the best location, remote from the center or anything happening. Need car for any entertainment

The pillows were on the hard/lumpy side (however, there were plenty if you need more than one), duvets very heavy (probably good in winter)

Great staff, very helpful and friendly, especially reception! Lovely pool, water and air temperature were great, warm enough for our children and the sauna was also very good. Rooms were nice, spacious enough and clean.

£7 parking charge for an out of town hotel seems mean. No air conditioning in bedrooms, which made for a warm night despite the hotel providing four fans.

Leisure club attached with swimming pool. Suite was excellent for family with two rooms. ‘Double’ sofa bed and single put up bed great for the kids

No air conditioning in the middle of summer was a bit odd - we had a small fan for the 2 of us, and only doona's.

Small room and small tub, double bed too small for 2 persons and my side had springs, I had to sleep on the single bed provided. No A/C in the room which was OK for our stay at night, but very hot in the room during the day, we had to leave the window open luckily no mosquitos but we had a big spider enter the room. We had to pay for the car parking which I think should be free. Room was too noisy at night as road/traffic nearby.

Reception Staff are amazing and super professional. Breakfast quality is good although no big variety.

The lack of air-con in rooms is a shame. Although a fan was provided (a good, positive, step), it was not sufficient. (There is no easy answer, I know) Unfortunately for us, our visit coincided with the local airshow which meant we had to pay premium prices. BUT and NB: If we had paid the normal "off peak" rate, the value for money would have been excellent.

Fabulous friendly staff made our visit a real pleasure.
