For essentially a converted garage the space was tight. The room was compact - esp shower & 'kitchenette' - but quite adequate for 2. Furniture was minimal - small kitchenette shelves, a fold-up desk by the bed, a chair. There was nowhere really to put holdalls other than the floor. Hanging space was just a hook or 2. Bed was a bit soft - but we slept well.

Cost was very attractive - for a studio - vs a hotel room. Location was great for our purpose. On street parking easy. Booking and access was easy. No fuss, no drama. Kitchenette was well equipped - fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle - plus crockery & cutlery for 2. There was space to move the double bed away from the wall for an aisle either side.

I did have one comment that I wanted to make. My wife and I arrived to the Suite quite late, a little after 11pm. We found the house no problem, and we walked through the gate to the key box. When I put in the code and opened the box, there was no key inside. I messaged the property owners, and my wife and I tried to see if the key had fallen on the ground somehow or something. After a few minutes of scrambling, we heard a voice ask if everything was okay. The property owner had heard us and popped his head out the window. We told him the key was missing, and he immediately ran down to give it to us. He apologized and said they had just forgotten to put the key in the box earlier. With that, the issue was solved, and we had a great night in the Suite. In addition, the property owners sent me a follow up message to apologize again after our stay, which was much appreciated. I made this comment not to deter you from booking this room, but just to note the attentive nature of the property owners and to suggest reaching out to the owners to confirm that the key is in the box beforehand. The renters are a family just renting out their converted garage, and I am sure they have busy lives, and it just slipped their mind. It was no big deal, and they stayed up to make sure we got in our room regardless. I absolutely recommend the Suite to anyone, and we will be returning in the future!

The Suite was a very nice stay. It was a great price for its location, and the size was perfect for my wife and I. It included a full bathroom with shower, and there was a small desk as well for eating or light work. It was pretty clean overall. The property owners were very responsive via the Booking app, and they provided very clear directions on how to get to the Suite once you arrived. It was located just about 13 minutes from RSPB Rainham Marshes where we were staying, which was perfect. It is just across the river from Kent as well. The property owners are very kind, and we met in person briefly when we stayed.

The address on the listing should be edited as its not complete. If the address can’t be edited, the host should provide the full address(with house number) to the guests in time, as well as the safe password. We got stranded when we arrived at midnight because we only had the post code and didn’t know the house number, though I also accept my mistake as I should have asked and confirmed everything before the trip. The location of the safe and instructions to access the property should also be made available in advance. We had to ring bookings.com to get the house number and I had to ring the bell, thankfully the host answered us at that midnight and let us in. I believe this shouldn’t have happened if we had all the details in advance. To future guests, please make sure you get all these details in advance….. aside that, no other complaints.

The check-in process was a bit 'buffling' and odd (to say the least...) but when inside the room it was great.

The room was in the standard of any hotelroom, and all very clean. It was a bit odd how to first 'check in' since you have to walk into someones garden, and then leave(!) the garden at another gate to access the room in another building. However when finally inside, it was great and clean. ...and most important: not overpriced!
