The photos on the booking website don't yet show the redesigned room as it has only recently been completed so I have added a couple of my own.

Louise is a wonderful hostess and made us very welcome. We were in room 5 which has been recently redesigned to provide a spacious studio room. The large double bed is really comfortable and there is a sitting area with sofa and coffee table and a kitchenette with kettle, fridge, crockery etc. The new bathroom has an excellent shower. Breakfast was really good especially the smoked salmon. The guesthouse is also perfectly located for exploring Ullapool and the surrounding area.

We've just spent 5 nights here and enjoyed every minute. Louise is an absolute gem. Nothing is too much trouble, and she does everything possible to ensure you have a great stay. Our room was well appointed, and clean towels were provided daily. Breakfast was excellent and always hit the spot. We're definitely booking up again when we next head NW to Ullapool.

Excellent breakfast. The smoked salmon in particular was very good and procured from the local smokehouse (we asked for directions so that we could buy more). Convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff.

1. Location - in the centre of town, close to shops, restaurants and ferry. 2. Generous breakfast included in room price - continental plus cooked breakfast. We could choose from the menu each morning, what we wanted the owner to cook for us. 3. Deluxe Double Room (with bathroom) was on the first floor. It had enough space for two people with a lot of luggage. 4. Room was serviced daily. 5. Free WiFi. 6. Kettle, tea, coffee and milk available in the room. 7. Free street parking around the property.

We certainly enjoyed our stay here and would book again. I have stayed here before years ago and although the property has changed hands the standards are still high. The house is very clean and our room was very comfortable. Louise was a very warm and welcoming host. She has lots of useful local knowledge to help guests with their trips.The breakfast was excellent.

Very comfortable & our room was spacious. Louise is an exceptional host, providing a good choice of places to dine out within walking distance. Breakfast was yummy. There’s a wonderful selection of cooked foods.
