It was like a home away from home. It was so peaceful. The owners Richard and Paula were so welcoming and went above and beyond. The breakfast was delightful. All in all it was a fantastic stay.

Wasn't there anything to dislike really.

It's a lovely guest house, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hosts are great and considerate. The breakfast was delicious. A lot of attention to detail has been given to everything. The location is superb, not too close to the lake or the commercial centre but still just a nice walking distance away.

As can be seen from the picture the property is full of character. Especially our rooms at the top of the building. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The full English breakfast was superb. We could easily park nearby in the street and we were roughly equidistant from Windermere and Bowness as mentioned by our host upon arrival.

Richard and Paula are the best hosts and the Full English breakfast had been fantastic until my clumsy husband ruined it by loosening the cap of the salt can😂would recommend the hotel to my friends absolutely.

Ceiling a bit low on one side of the double bed.

Great location between Windermere and Bowness. Plenty of parking on the roads in quiet area. Room was very clean and beds comfy. We had the family room on the top floor. Breakfast good each day with plenty of choice. Richard and Paula very friendly and helpful. Good value price for a long weekend in school summer holidays.

We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived until we left. The breakfasts were fabulous & plenty of options available. Room 8 was very comfortable & spacious. Paula & Richard are excellent hosts, we will return sometime soon 😊

Stayed in the top floor unit, the beam is quite low, must watch your head when moving around the room

Paula is very welcoming and friendly. The homemade compote/yogurt at breakfast is amazing. The property is in a quiet part of town between the north and south end of Windermere which are both walkable.

Lovely welcome upon arrival and Richard was very friendly, made to feel at home, shown where everything was and given some leaflets with things that might interest us during our stay. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant and you could tell that they really pride themselves on supporting local produce suppliers. Paula was lovely and friendly and we had a lovely chat over breakfast.

Paula & Richard super welcoming & made our stay very comfortable. Both provided excellent options for local walks/activities. The room was absolutely delightful; the shower was great, & the pillows & bed comfortable. The room was warm & toasty, & the cooked breakfast was plentiful $ tasty. Would definitely recommend

Hosts Paula & Richard were very accomodating & friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, lovely fresh linen & towels. Great location short walk from shops, restaurants & lake. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The location is in a leafy residential area yet about 8 to 10 .minutes walk from the city center. Hosts are pleasant & helpful. We feel at home
