A fantastic place to stay, unwind and relax. Yvonne was an amazing host and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Everything is spotlessly clean and modern. Breakfast was fantastic too and really set me up for the day.

Nothing negative to comment about the property….just wish we’d bought swimsuits to use the hot tub and sauna!!

Yvonne & Jim went above and beyond for myself and my partner. We were unsure about the area and were staying as we were attending a wedding nearby. They looked after us, were kind, considerate and very helpful. The room it’s self felt like a home away from home, comfy and breakfast was an absolute treat each morning. Thank you for having us stay! Definitely would stay again!

If I'm honest there was absolutely nothing I did not like. So much thought gone into the place.

Yvonne was an amazing host, literally felt like nothing was too much trouble. She really made us feel welcome and she was really nice in helping us with some tight timeframes and itinerary. Breakfast was fantastic. Loved the vegetarian options and vegetarian haggis was a first for me. Perfect.

Very difficult to find using sat nav! Would have been useful to have signage at top of hill.

It’s was all good, we loved being there.

Lovely house and room, warm and friendly owners. Room was beautifully done and homely. Hot tub was a nice touch. Breakfast was the icing on the cake. Only sad our stay was for one night only. Will defo be back.

Need to have an inside lock on the bedroom doors for women travelling alone although didn't feel unsafe in the slightest.

Only two suggestions for improvement - some hooks for clothes and handtowel in the bathroom would be really handy; maybe try a different floor cleaner in the bathroom as the current one is extremely slippery with socks or bare feet.

The guest house is fantastic. Some highlights: - The location is beautiful and serene, surrounded by a river and birdsong. - The room is beautifully decorated and beds are comfortable. - The breakfast was delicious. - The hot tub and outdoor cabin are great. - The host was lovely.

This place was absolutely stunning. The hostess was there to greet us on arrival and show us around. The room was really nice. Comfy bed. Smart TV. Good internet. Very nice shower. Lovely toiletries provided as well. We could open our back bedroom door in to a beautiful stunning garden area with jacuzzi, sauna, loads outdoor seating areas, nice out house with fridge and chairs too. Stunning few of river at the back. Loved the hot tub. Nice hot temperature which l love. The couple who own the place were really helpful but at the same time not in our faces. Very safe secure place. Easy to park and not far from the town centre to drive to. Had breakfast upon leaving and oh wow was amazing. Can’t wait to return and take my mum.

Absolutely over the moon with our stay at kirkwirral guest house! Evoyne and Jim were exceptionally welcoming and so friendly! The house was very upto date and immaculate! Breakfast was unreal and so fresh! The jacuzzi was fab.. nice, hot and very spacious! Evyonee made sure we were content and happy from the minute we arrived, could not fault this place! Ideal for a couples chilled night away! Thanks Evyonee and Jim x
